here comes may!

April has almost ended!! April has been rather enjoyable and eventful(: By God's grace, i went thru april feeling relaxed and happy..i gt to catch a movie with jasmine and helped out at sports heats for 3 dayss! it was really exciting helping out and cheering runners on! but one thing i wld regret is that i didnt participate in any events..maybe fartlek? im not too sure yet.
despite being relaxed most of the time, at the back of my mind i wld think of how close A lvls are coming!!! But i thank God i constantly remind myself to do my best for He has my future in His hands..nth can change it. thank God for frens who never fail to encourage and assure me(:
I finally went out shopping on sunday after so long! went out with jasmine, shelia and Gwyn to Bugis. But jas and shelia left earlier. then gwyn and i went to raffles city. Had a great time shopping and talking to her abt certain things(: today is the official step down for most eclub members..but im still staying on to help with the upcoming camp!
oh well, i shld be looking forward to May now despite more tests and exams coming up..but life isnt all abt that rite! so ya..take care people!(:

After one month...

I'm finally back after one mth!!! Lots of things to be updated!! Well, I thank God for seeing me thru this BUSY month! Some highlights of the month are senior class retreat on the eve of easter..we went for sunrise service at macritche on easter sunday! Thank God that every yr many churches come together to rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus(:

I gt to interview the jc1s joing eclub..enjoyable experience..(: so in future, we will know what the interviewer is looking out for after being an interviewer.

I gt to watch a dinosaur show at omni theatre and after that yq came over to my house for the first time(:

Yf anniversary on 5 april..as usual, jasmine and i were ics for refreshments...we had to go to imm and buy lots of food and the cake was heavy but yummmy! eh jasmine..although it was ex but very nice..anw one time only! hahah

This week...i gt to meet cecilia and HUihui for lunch at jec!! like finalllyy...then met up with sq and we all went to library to study(:

1/4 of the yr has passed...time really flies..more tests and exams coming up!! really gt to leave them all to God. I thank God for a recent reminder from the daily bread.

The March holidays...

The march holidays have come and gone! how time flies!! well, i think i didnt waste my march holidays away as i did different things(: Thank God for time spent with different people though i didnt get to catch up with my sec sch mates..i promise u all..JUNE!

On monday, met up with sq at je library to do bu4 finance and study..guess what? we met kelly chua at the library and asked her to sit with us! gt to catch up with her! (:

On tue, went out with fy and yq to orchard! it was really a bad day to go out as it was raining non-stop plus it was heavy rain!! but thank God we had our umbrellas with us.(:we were so tired from all the walking arnd in the rain!

On wed, gt to catch a movie with jasmine and grace at THE CATHAY! we watched sky of love(: nice moviee..but i wasnt really touched as compared to jasmine and grace la! ahhah!

on thurs, decided to visit the tf retreat at aloha loyang with grace and mag! had a great time catching up with the younger ones but mostly with mag and isabelle as we were studying tgth before the bbq(: had a great time snacking and studying! isabelle's only pri 6 and she's so hardworking!

today, had to go back to sch for econs lesson! and i'm back at home now after a meal with binbin and anling.

Thank God i gt to do some of my hw and study, at the same time enjoying my march holidays!

HAPPY DAY! (:

I really thank God its fri!! the 2 weeks of mugging for so mannnyy tests is finally over! i really need a break..thank God for this coming one week holiday! gt more things to be done that i have left aside! God has been my comfort,strength and guide this week! Thank God for the alvl results..jj did better this yr(: and for my chinese results..i passed! that means quite a lot to me becos my chinese is very unpredictable..so God gave me that grade and im satisfied!! no more chinese! jolynn..u can do it! hahah! (: i hope this week will be well-spent! (:

Singapore 2010!

I figured that if i had to blog abt youth olympics..i had to do it now..becos next 2 weeks is going to be busy for me! 4 tests in a row next week? 3 tests the followsing wk! anw, i'm glad i participated as being a motivator for the countdown at padang yest.! jjc was invited to cheer at padang (: cheers and mass dance and funny moves! jjc gave our best at padang and we all enjoyed ourselves! the moment before the result of who won was realllyy exciting and scary..and when they finally announced SIngapore, everyone yelled! and i hugged yq la! hahah..it was really memorable! thank God for the opportunity to witness the result! I'm really glad Singapore win the bid! can't wait for 2010..i wonder what it wld be like(: photos will be uploaded soon(:

YF and TF reunion dinner!

Thank God for this sat nite where the yf and tf cld meet tgth for reunion dinner..(: as usual, jasmine and i were in charge of food..thank God for the right amt of food bought! ohya! last sat was really great! the yfers were invited to Rev Ong's house for CNY lunch and we had a blessed time of fellowship(: after that we headed to Uncle Kok wah's house for more food and fellowship! we watched this touching movie " Facing the giants"...a really good movie to watch! Thank God for a great week at sch! thanks to alll who gave chocolates and letters during valentine's day!received a flower frm my bro on valentine's day! so sweet rite(: and senior class gals received 3 stalks of roses each frm senior class boys yesterday..how sweet of them too! we gave chocolates in return! (:

CNY 2008!

Before i blog abt CNY, i wld like to say how great this week had been! I thank God for a rather relaxed week since it was only 2 days of sch! i gt to catch 27 dresses with fy and yq! like finally, we all 3 cld catch a movie tght at vivo. after that, i persuaded sq to accompany me to NUS cutural hall to watch "A chorus Line" production of Tanglin sec! It was ok but just a lot of talking instead of singing and dancing..very different frm the Joseph musical we had in 2004.

Had a wonderful CNY eve yest in jj and tanglin! we had tossing of Yusheng session with our own classes! after that, some of the S26ians went to meet GANMA at the staffroom! (: everything ended at like 8.45? then, sq,samuel and i went back to tanglin..it was nice catching up with mrs Koh and other tchers.(:

Australian open 2008-Things i've learnt!

HEYAA! i've been watching the tennis australian matches for the past few days..and i must say that God spoke to me thru these matches..that He is fair and does not make one perfect and every one makes errors! my fav lady player, justine henin, world no.1 lost in straight sets to maria..one of which was 6-0..she has never gt 6-0 in a long while...another match..nadal, world no. 2..lost to an UNSEEDED player in 3 straight sets..no fight at all..and the most shocking one of all was today's federer world no. 1 lost in STRAIGHT sets to Novak Djokovic!! i thought there wld be a fight..but the score just goes to show that no one can be perfect in their every match(: But i'm really happy for djokovic!! was rather sad that justine lost, but i realised that after a tournament, who wld remb who won?? so i shldnt brood over such stuff(:

am starting to get busy already and feeling the stress of having 3 tests next wk!! am excited for tml's concert at esplanade! (:

how the year began...and it's almost end of jan!

HEYA PEOPLE! i'mback for more updates! jan has been quite a gd month..haven started feeling the stress yet..that's becos i depended on God this time..not by my own strength! I thank God for a good timetable! everyday end at 2pm lei! except for mon..

anw, had a recent class gathering with PAE S26..had steamboat! its really great to catch up with them once in a while! (: can't wait for the next outing! and S28...when are we having our next outing???

Another thing, i'm really encouraged by the attendance for YF this year! i really hope more youths will continue to attend YF faithfully till the end of the year! Youth choir has begun, and im enjoying it! (:

can u believe it? its 20th jan already!! time will really fly this yr! can't wait for A lvls to be over!

2008 has arrived !

HEYA! i know i'm slow to blog..haha..the year 2008 has already started 5 days ago..but anw, i thank God for seeing me thru year 2007. Even as i stepped into a new environment, i thank God for new friends i've made, and for being able to cope in my first year of jc. it was a struggle in the beginning...but im thankful that i pulled thru(: S26, S28 will always be in my memory! 2007 has been quite a different year for me as i gt to attend prayer meetings more often than previous years,i gt to study in church,i had an opportunity to work! (: God has been really good to me in 2007!
So, as i step into year 2008, i hope that it will not be only be just seen a year of struggles and trials,but that i may be able to live in joy with God watching over me! (: time really flies!!
