Fast and Pray. Combined YF meeting 07!

HEYA! im back to blog! this week has been a wonderful week! many things to thank God for..firstly the results..thank God i accepted them, the good and the not so good ones..anyway, thank God for christian frens who constantly remind and encourage me! God has His reasons for everything that happens!

Have been working with my pw grp on our OP! its been fun working on this area! haha..taking pics for our slideshow presentation! its reallyyy hilarious! i shall post some up! you can have fun laughing at them!

on fri, had fast and pray in church..first time experience for me! we were supposed to stop eating by 4pm on fri..but i didnt really know..but anw, the yf and yaf had a sweet time of fellowship by singing and praying, as well as hearing God's word! this session took place frm 7 to 1am!! and the gals slept in the mwr, i slept on the chairs..i slept quite well! haha..the next morning..we went to teban to eat! i decided to go home first before gng back to church at 1pm tto leave for Zion Bishan BP for combined yf meeting 2007! thank God for this yr's message by Rev Heng, which spoke abt unity under christ..we are all sheep in the same flock.(: my grp was EZRA! an active and fun-loving grp! its nice to know new youths every yr..though i always have this phobia. met new frens like melinda,michelle,rachelkee and sarah(: we even took a niceyy grp pic!

HEYA! im back for another post! thank God for today,finally....after dont know how many years of knowing rachel, i finally gt to go out with jasmine and her to vivo! we were walking arnd..actually kind of decided whether to watch a movie before that already..just that felt kind of waste of money...anyway, we decided to watch ratatouille! i think we are like the only ones who haven catch the movie la! its ending soon! this movie is really really niceee!! we all enjoyed ourselves today! we took a stroll at the rooftop for a while. can't wait for another outing with them again! God is GOOD!

YAY! thank God PROMOS are finally over! after 1 mth of studying at je library and in church, finally! the day has come! God has been good to me(: he sustained me throughout my papers..without headache but i had stomachache on one of the nites but recovered so quickly! Thank God for my studying buddies in church! you all have been an encouragement and my joy and laughter too! (: thanks to jasmine and yvonne, my regular latenite studying buddies in church and sometimes lydia and kevin do join in our studying grp! (: Its been fun buying bread and tarts from the bakery all the time! the fourth level rm and the tables in front of the yf board has become like part of my life..haha! thank God for uncle john and his wife and Sis karina who constantly brought us food, to make sure we have eaten. (: I celebrated my first lantern festival in church eating a sumptous meal! thanks to those who have been praying for me! my je library parnter is shuqing! thanks gal for your help too! (: Ohya.i finally started discipleship with shelia jie last sat on 29 Sept! (:

S26 outing to celebrate tcher's day!

HEYA people! its been long since i last blogged..lots of things to be updated..recently had the leaders camp over two days..its was really fun and enriching! thank God i made it to church on sunday, though i knew i missed the fun part. (: oso, my class s28 has been rather small this past 3 weeks la! this week attendance dropped to average 12? anyway, the 3 ppl are coming back frm china tml!! finally!!! after 3 weeks la! (: we had our class learning journey without them, celebrated tcher's days without them and they will miss acers day.
Last sunday, i had a great chat with rachel and jasmine. well, thanks gals for informing me abt sth. Was super shocked and disappointed after hearing the news, to the extend i teared. well, i guess God has His reasons..but will continue to pray for u! (:
Thank God that my class celebrated tcher's day for our dear Mr Azmi! we bought an icecream cake! and had fun taking pics, singing tcher's day song for him! (:
Thank God for today's outing s26(pae) had with ganma tooo!! i enjoyed myself!(: we ate at jp's pizza hut(: ganma so funny la..the tcher's day gift for ganma was a puzzle which was a photo of s26! so nice la! thanks qihui,fengyi,jacinda,louis,victor,geok,benny,james and xing keng for turning up! and of course ganman who kept insisting she has to pay..but in the end we hid the money in the card! National Day 2007!

Heya people! this year's national day was rather diff for me since i did not get to go for ndp! so sad..anyway, i enjoyed myself this year tooo!!(: firstly, on the 8 aug, our sch's celebration was ok la..not as gd as tanglin! haha...but we were given ALOT of goodies!! went out with fengyi and yiqing after that..window shopping..haha..and on 9 aug...whee! went to church for field day in the morning!! i had fun though there werent many galileans but kindergarden kids and their family! THank God for the event! (: after that, went for S28 class outing which is steamboat at marina bay + to watch fireworks! Our view was good frm where we were seated! food was not bad..i ate alot la..hahhaa..had lots of fun with my classmates though only 10 came..after dinner..the rest headed to the airport to stay overnight since some are leaving for the china trip..yq and i went home..but anyway, i hope that the 3 of them will have a great trip! 3 weeks will pass soon! i hope. today was another good day..buffet lunch for me again as my mom went to meet up with her frens and i gt to see the cute children after so long!..haha..oh ya..its yong hong's bd! happy bday once again! ahhaa..hope u had fun! this year's national day just passed like that..there goes the long holidays..back to work..

YAY! praise God common tests are over! its time for me to take a break. (: God has beeen real and good to me! He sustained my throughout this week. and its finally over! i have been waiting for this day! (: now its time to celebrate Singapore's bday!i love to sing national day songs.haha(:but im missing this yr's national day parade! so saddd! i like the bag! Anyway, on sunday, im glad i made the decision to watch "love above all" musical at NUS. Its was quite good.(: although i was a little worried for common tests. anyway, i finally gt to catch harry potter movie with yi qing today at VIVO! our first time watching at vivo and we were super excited la! hhaa..but the threatre we went was so small la. we were like busy finding sweet popcorn la..cos like all salted instead of mixed. and we went shopping at VIVO before the movie started.sale still on.we were tempted though(: we are meet again tml to do more shopping! ahaha..(: oh ya..i have to annouced that the main com is finally fixed! thanks to my bro! He's back frm U.S!! ahah..and im so happy becos all the files are retrived! thank God. my pics since sec sch(:

OLYMPIC DREAMS!

HEYA PPL! I'm back after such a long pause of blogggin! Life has beeen hectic and busy..but i decided to blog today! Since a BIG event just passed. that is olympic dream! well, my class had CIP on this big event, and since i'm a jj leader, i decided to stay overnite at the stadium with some of my classmates! we all had fun! and we ran the nite thru la! thank God for strength and that no one was injuired seriously. the next morning..we had mass dance display and my class continued with our CIP..it was supposed to be teaching others how to use the wheel chaiir..but end up we used the wheel chair..cos no one wanted to actually learn from us.as they already knew how to. so ya..by the time my shift came, we did something else, such as giving out the rubber bands to runners and to record the no,. of laps they ran. i cycled that afternoon la! really tiring.20 laps of running and cycling! and im glad i gt to share part of the gospel to yh while walking the laps in the nite. God gave me the opportunity!

THank God for sustaining me thru all the weeks at sch..hw here..tests there..cca matters..oh yaaa! yesterday's kite flying at west coast park was cooool and funnn! finallyly i see the kites flying la! im sure yfers enjoyed themselves that day! (:

Church Camp 2007!

Thank God i made it to camp this year! It was held at Awana genting this year! long journey..thansk God for journey mercies as the rain was really heavy!! thank God for my room mates jasmine,lydia and debrorah! they have been gd roommates! thanks to deborah who taught me bio(: we had fun playing UNO too! ahha..im the winner(: I enjoyed the fellowship with everyone and this year, i took back new messages to be learnt and applied. and i also enjoyed helping the kiddies for one day. The first day was rather relaxed, had ice breakers and singing. the second day, i went to help the kids during the messages. and during free time, most of us went to play sports like squash,table tennis,badminton and tennis. I did archery too!!(: in the night, the was the bible reading competition. the kids recited the 66 bks of the bible. I was super touched by one of the special child and i cried while he recited! he was very determined and confident. praise God! on wednesday, we had messages and recreation time. Some of us, mostly gals decided to take the cable car up to the higher part of genting(themepark and shopping mall) to check out before most of us go the next day. the cable car up was super fun la! its SEA's longest and fastest cable car(: misty(: i ate baskin robbins before coming down again by cable car.on the way down, my roommates sat in the same cable car and we sang our way down! we had campfire nite! and they celebrated the june babies birthdays(: on thursday, we played the most! most of us went up to genting again to spend our timee at the theme park! sat many exciting rides la!! enjoyed myself(: since it was the last nite, many youths gathered in a rm to sing and play UNO and pig!
This camp was very memorable as i managed to recite the 66 bks of the bible with jasmine and deborah..many others did too! it was really encouraging(: there were sharings that were encouraging. took lots of pics! and gt to know others more(: Thank God for His mercies throughout this camp! i hope that i can make it for next yr's camp!(: oh ya! thanks God for NICE weather!! cooling ! and gd foooodd!

Heya! im back again! i had a really great day today! lots of happenings arnd(: haha! woke up early to get ready for BU4 meeting in sch..and God justr wanted me to use the com again..haha..like how i met my bro online the other morning..first time! and guess what, i met JESSICA online! for the first time..like finally! i couldnt be more happy la! (:gd start for the day! i managed to catch up with her. after that..went for BU 4 meeting..then after that, met my mum to go suntec to eat..ate some porridge buffet in the end..NICE(: walk walk walk..Had an invitation by MS SHUQING and MS HUIHUI for dinner at marina's pizza hut(: thanks gals, i really had a great meal and taking pics..and smiling at the cute lil boy huh..hahaha!we walked and walked again..then went home(: i watched roalnd garros(: and the 2 semi final matches made my day again! Ivanovic and Justine henin is in the finals! whoo hoo! I hope justine wins ultimately la! haha! God has preserved me for 17 yrs!(: And i received lots of SMSes that made my day even brighter(: so many msgs la..i had to reply like everyone.(: but thanks guys..really(: the 2 smses that made me shocked was my bro and joanne jie(: both overseas but never failing to make my day(: and to those who send testimonials thru friendster..thanks so much(: really appreciate it(: how many smiley faces do i have..hahaha..toohappy! will post pics soon(:

ANd this week i had ECLUB CAMP! finally its here..after dont know how many weeks
when we first started the commitee.Thank God that night went well! (: and i finally met up
with my
sec 2 gang(sq,xf,yn and sm!) at marina's han's! we ate and talked a lot..and shopped
alot! thanks for everything gals!

Labour Day

heya! yesterday was a super fun day la! S28 went out for dinner at vivo! and chen yaan made it! only 2 cldnt make it..and we ate at the same place i ate with jessica,sq,huihui on fri! haa.and i ordered the same thing(: we made a lot of noise in the restaurant and the waiter sweated as he took our orders. the boys were so lame especially jiajun and jonathan la..after the dinner..we stood outside the restaurant for at least 15 mins taking pics la..practucally everyone was like taking pics here and there..super funny la..everyone was like staring i tink.after that, class rep jasmine lead the "tour grp" to mark and spencers then we went roof garden to take more pics and have class bonding(: yiqing,fengyi and i left earlier..too late already!

Today is a sad day, huihui,sq and i took a cab down to the airport to send jessica off.the day has come..its that fast! it was so qiao that the cab driver was one of the tanglin gal's father and we know her! we took pics and im sad to see her off..dont know when she's coming back): come back jessica! after that i went home and came out with my mom to shop.

Things will be different..

it's gonna be end of the week.(: sat is coming! recently i realised sth and i start to picture like why God had a reason for me to get the no. of points for olvl..cos i knew if i gt 11 and below i wld have gone to take 4 H2s..and that was what God didnt want me to do. I'm grateful to HIM. Now i see a clear pic. He has placed me where He wants me to be! Im happy to be in the class i am in right now, after getting to know more abt them and seeing how the class reacts during civics and maths class..haha..! they are all fun ppl! can't believe we will be having a class dinner soon! thats on monday since tue is a public holiday(: still wondering when will be the next s26(pae) outing..(:Still busy with eclub stuff..but having fun(: NACHOS!

Sth sad is gonna happen. Jessica just told me she's leaving for America on tue! thats like super fast..she was supposed to leave in sept! and now she's leaving to study there..and if she's finds a sch, she will stay there until sch starts!! if not, she's coming back to singapore!(:I'm so sad la! one less person to talk to, to laugh with, and sharing lame stuff..i'm so gonna miss u la!! don't leave me! But i will try to visit u when u are there(:

It's weekend! (:

I was so looking forward to sat lo! this week was so busy and scary for me..hhaa..lots of tests and hw!! was rather stressed too. however, there has been great things which happened this week too! i started my duty at cookie house this week and had lots of fun! and we formed our pw grps already! my grpmates are yiqing,feng yi,bin bin and the only boy edward.haha..hope we will work well together! this week, my class finally took class photos! we took with mr azmi and mr seah.(: PC in jc is really tough la! i'm strugglin..haha..must be fitter! and wheee! yesterday jess and i decided to go back to tanglin with huihui to collect out olvl certs..in the end we will 15mins late..as in the ppl in the office all left already..we waited for lyefong in sch..then we saw ian and ks too! so qiao! we chatted with ms lim,mr chan and mrs jacob and we took pics too! haha..then junhao,kelly and kaheng came to sch too..we went to macs for dinner to catch up!today's sat..yf is watching Left behind part 2! next week there's bio and 2 gp tests! pray for me! Blessed 46th anniversary GCYF!

HEYA! one week for sch passed like that again..wow how fast la! FRIDAY was the best of course..haha..finally gt to meet s26(pae) peeps like van,eveline,qihui,victor and james at jec for dinner! we ate macs..talked a lot abt current lives.after that, guess where we went? we went to take neoprints for the first time together! we had fun!
Yesterday was a BIG day for yf! we had our homecoming and many ex yfers came back to celebrate this occasion! i was incharge of food again..together with rachel. thank God for jasmine who helped out too! early morning, i went to imm to collect the secret recipe cake..it was a banana choco cake(yummy!) then met the 2 at sheng siong to get stuff..then we went back to church and set off to westmall to get old chang kee! i was really afraid either there was not enough food or too much food..but thank God for the right amt of ppl who turned up! thanks to Shelia who gt Bao and kueh! while they were having the celebration upstairs, rachel,me and together with my mum and another aunty and uncle, helped to prepare the sandwiches and drinks with us! this coming week is gonna be busy! 3 tests in a row!

Finally!

YEAH! finally i can blog on my com! after so long..thanks Jasmine and Jacinda who posted my last few posts. It has been 3 weeks since school started..yup.lots of hw and tests are coming up! just had maths test today. Anyway, it's been a great past 2 weeks! last wk, i got to catch mr bean's holiday with jessica armani! haha..then this wk, on monday, went to meet up with cecilia to so call celebrated her bday..she gave my a treat at je's pizza hut! and we did alot of catching up! quite sad today, the class outing that van and i planned did not come through..though we waited so long for this day! in the end, so little cld turn up, so we cancelled..but VANESSA and I still went to je to eat KFC lo! haha! did some catching up too! God has been great this week! He sustained me as i had to do this PI(which was tiring) and He gave me strength during PC( we had to run A LOT). tml is Good friday! There's a reason behind this Good friday people! Jesus died on the Cross for our SINS so that our sin's are forgiven and we can go to HEAVEN when we die. And Jesus arose on the third day to show that He Lives!LOVE was on that cross. " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not PERISH, but have EVERLASTING life" John 3:16. Jesus is the best present that u can ever receive. So do think carefully as this is the most important decision in one's life!

first week of term 2!

I'm in class 07S28! a new environment for me again..and i have 2 classmates who were previously frm 07s26 who are with me! Its nice making new frens and keeping in contact with my previous classmates! my class had this bonding session together behind LT5. we introduced ourselves and played games! this week of lectures has been ok..not too bad..thank God i dont feel tired!
today was extremely fun la! my PAE class 07s26 had a class gathering at jp! our first gathering since we went our separate ways.! i met qihui first at 4.30 and we walked arnd and met duchen..and waited for the rest(fengyi,jacinda,xueqi,yeele,victor,geok,benny,james,xingkeng) and we walked and walked arnd and didnt know what to eat..thank God we finally found a place to eat that had seats for all of us..which is PIZZA PLACE! a new place which we haaven tried! they had student value meal! we shared a lot abt lectures, jcs..yup..heard a lot abt ac and sa.(: its great to be together once again chating!after dinner..xueqi,victor,geok,yeele,james and i walked arnd while the rest went home..we stood at a corner and chat then yeele went back to her primary sch gathering..the 5 of us walked arnd and stepped into toys r us and we played with TOYS..haha..and we found this kiddy area whick allowed us to sit for 1 hr..the place which kids use this colourful liquids and decorate..some art thingy..and we decided to do one for qihui's bday! haha! it was really fun! we stayed till abt 9 before heading to kopitiam to take a video for qihui..(: until abt 10.30..we went home(: can't wait for our next outing when eveline comes back! shld be bowling! HeyA! I'm back after a two day kelong trip in malaysia! it was really an enojoyable experience for me..living on a kelong! very different lifestyle..anyway, i learnt how to fish! when we reached the kelong,most of them started fishing while some watched tv..i didnt really know what to do..thank God i found sth to do! so happy meijun came along..and she decided to fish.then i follow her! we hold the rod..first attempt: we almost gt the fish but it slipped away! what a pity. but we gt a second attempt: i felt some tug..so i quickly pull up..i caught a pufferfish!! the mouth super bloated la! but it was poisonous so Rev tan threw it back into the sea..ok..third attempt: we really caught this big fish! whee!so happy to experience catching fishes! thank God for the trip with galilee and grace bp church.(: the toilet is super funny..we have to pee into the sea thru the toilet bowl..and i had to bathe using pails!

This march holiday has been great! did quite a lot of things like eating and shopping! its gonna be the last week to enjoy before sch starts..time for serious work!

Today's yf, we had street tracting at jurong! a rather exciting and fun experience for me as i gt to give out a lot of tracts as compared to door-to-door tracting! am glad so many people are receptive towards receiving the tracts! Praise God!

A God-sent class

I'm really thankful to God for giving my such a wonderful class in jj pae! my fellow classmates has made my entry into jj so fun! thanks so much 07S26! thru love fiesta, class bonding in ganma's class(phototaking), outings..and jj wall,class jersey,card games, we have definitely grown closer! i truly enjoyed u ppl's company! seoul garden on tue was fun! haha..ate so much huh! when a few of you all started sending in the msgs yesterday, i almost cried la! its really sad to see some of you-all leaving! but we will keep in touch! (:

went to meet van at holland to eat before gng for jj nite today. we wanted subway but so many acjc ppl went there!! we decided to eat breko! chocolate addiction.yummy! and the super CHEEZY pizza..eekk. jj nite was coool! abt the same as ours that time(: I'm missing admin too!!

unforgettable day

today was an unforgettable day! firstly, only 12 of my classmates turned up..plus we wore our class jerseys! super red! our class decided to go for the maths test..and when we went to the lecture hall, there were less than 20 ppl there la! in the end only abt 20+ went! my class had the most no. of ppl la! and the tcher say we so supportive of him! haha..in the end..not maths test as it was an open bk test plus its was self-marked! after that we had chem tutorial which only last half hr! so cool! released early! we took pics in class! after that eveline qihui duchen and i decided to go rajah inn at tiong bahru to eat! on the way out of sch..we were stalked by this sec sch BB boy! he started walking beside eveline so closely, staring at her shoes..folled by watch and bag..the three of us being gals were super scared la! but thank God there was du chen who saved us la! he was able to shoo the boy away..so scary! i wondered what that boy wanted..
met up with vanessa louis and xing keng to eat at rajah inn..and i met cc, junhao and aloy there too!

last week of pae..

heyaa! the last two weeks have been greatt! my class 07s26 finally gt our class jersey! the colours red and gold are so niceee! like angbao! last thurs, i followed VAN to queensway to give the class jersey money.and guess what? i gt an angpao from the aunty la! so funny!we went over to anchor pt to relax for a while after that. haha..this week, on monday, a few of us (vanessa,eveline,qihui,xueqi,victor and james and yanting) went to watch Just follow law! we went to westmall so more ppl could come..! the show was very very funny..(: kept laughing. i love popcorn! haha..my class has a sudden addiction for card games like bridge and STRESS. hahaha...its beeen really fun being with 07s26 for this 2 mths! a bunch of coool and unique characters. (: not forgeting our ganma who is so gd to us..always give us chocolate to eat. this week is going to be the last week of pae..thank God for the time spent with everyone during this period of time! though some are staying but some are leaving..but im sure we will keep in touch!

CNY 2007

finally i can blog! after abt more than 1 wk, because of the google acc. which i must signup..it took so long! chinese new yr 07 has arrived! so fast huh! thank God for the time of visiting my relatives and 4e1 and admin too! yesterday was fun! mrs koh invited 4e1 06 to her house for visiting! and we bought sakae yusheng! it was fun having the class together and oso playing with her sons! so cute la! after mrs koh house, i rushed to meet the admin ppl at yiqi's house then later we went to kang sheng's house. i miss admin! really! but i decided not n to be involved in orientation two. there willl be other chances again!
