first week of term 2!

I'm in class 07S28! a new environment for me again..and i have 2 classmates who were previously frm 07s26 who are with me! Its nice making new frens and keeping in contact with my previous classmates! my class had this bonding session together behind LT5. we introduced ourselves and played games! this week of lectures has been ok..not too bad..thank God i dont feel tired!
today was extremely fun la! my PAE class 07s26 had a class gathering at jp! our first gathering since we went our separate ways.! i met qihui first at 4.30 and we walked arnd and met duchen..and waited for the rest(fengyi,jacinda,xueqi,yeele,victor,geok,benny,james,xingkeng) and we walked and walked arnd and didnt know what to eat..thank God we finally found a place to eat that had seats for all of us..which is PIZZA PLACE! a new place which we haaven tried! they had student value meal! we shared a lot abt lectures, jcs..yup..heard a lot abt ac and sa.(: its great to be together once again chating!after dinner..xueqi,victor,geok,yeele,james and i walked arnd while the rest went home..we stood at a corner and chat then yeele went back to her primary sch gathering..the 5 of us walked arnd and stepped into toys r us and we played with TOYS..haha..and we found this kiddy area whick allowed us to sit for 1 hr..the place which kids use this colourful liquids and decorate..some art thingy..and we decided to do one for qihui's bday! haha! it was really fun! we stayed till abt 9 before heading to kopitiam to take a video for qihui..(: until abt 10.30..we went home(: can't wait for our next outing when eveline comes back! shld be bowling! HeyA! I'm back after a two day kelong trip in malaysia! it was really an enojoyable experience for me..living on a kelong! very different lifestyle..anyway, i learnt how to fish! when we reached the kelong,most of them started fishing while some watched tv..i didnt really know what to do..thank God i found sth to do! so happy meijun came along..and she decided to fish.then i follow her! we hold the rod..first attempt: we almost gt the fish but it slipped away! what a pity. but we gt a second attempt: i felt some tug..so i quickly pull up..i caught a pufferfish!! the mouth super bloated la! but it was poisonous so Rev tan threw it back into the sea..ok..third attempt: we really caught this big fish! whee!so happy to experience catching fishes! thank God for the trip with galilee and grace bp church.(: the toilet is super funny..we have to pee into the sea thru the toilet bowl..and i had to bathe using pails!

This march holiday has been great! did quite a lot of things like eating and shopping! its gonna be the last week to enjoy before sch starts..time for serious work!

Today's yf, we had street tracting at jurong! a rather exciting and fun experience for me as i gt to give out a lot of tracts as compared to door-to-door tracting! am glad so many people are receptive towards receiving the tracts! Praise God!

A God-sent class

I'm really thankful to God for giving my such a wonderful class in jj pae! my fellow classmates has made my entry into jj so fun! thanks so much 07S26! thru love fiesta, class bonding in ganma's class(phototaking), outings..and jj wall,class jersey,card games, we have definitely grown closer! i truly enjoyed u ppl's company! seoul garden on tue was fun! haha..ate so much huh! when a few of you all started sending in the msgs yesterday, i almost cried la! its really sad to see some of you-all leaving! but we will keep in touch! (:

went to meet van at holland to eat before gng for jj nite today. we wanted subway but so many acjc ppl went there!! we decided to eat breko! chocolate addiction.yummy! and the super CHEEZY pizza..eekk. jj nite was coool! abt the same as ours that time(: I'm missing admin too!!

unforgettable day

today was an unforgettable day! firstly, only 12 of my classmates turned up..plus we wore our class jerseys! super red! our class decided to go for the maths test..and when we went to the lecture hall, there were less than 20 ppl there la! in the end only abt 20+ went! my class had the most no. of ppl la! and the tcher say we so supportive of him! haha..in the end..not maths test as it was an open bk test plus its was self-marked! after that we had chem tutorial which only last half hr! so cool! released early! we took pics in class! after that eveline qihui duchen and i decided to go rajah inn at tiong bahru to eat! on the way out of sch..we were stalked by this sec sch BB boy! he started walking beside eveline so closely, staring at her shoes..folled by watch and bag..the three of us being gals were super scared la! but thank God there was du chen who saved us la! he was able to shoo the boy away..so scary! i wondered what that boy wanted..
met up with vanessa louis and xing keng to eat at rajah inn..and i met cc, junhao and aloy there too!

last week of pae..

heyaa! the last two weeks have been greatt! my class 07s26 finally gt our class jersey! the colours red and gold are so niceee! like angbao! last thurs, i followed VAN to queensway to give the class jersey money.and guess what? i gt an angpao from the aunty la! so funny!we went over to anchor pt to relax for a while after that. haha..this week, on monday, a few of us (vanessa,eveline,qihui,xueqi,victor and james and yanting) went to watch Just follow law! we went to westmall so more ppl could come..! the show was very very funny..(: kept laughing. i love popcorn! haha..my class has a sudden addiction for card games like bridge and STRESS. hahaha...its beeen really fun being with 07s26 for this 2 mths! a bunch of coool and unique characters. (: not forgeting our ganma who is so gd to us..always give us chocolate to eat. this week is going to be the last week of pae..thank God for the time spent with everyone during this period of time! though some are staying but some are leaving..but im sure we will keep in touch!

CNY 2007

finally i can blog! after abt more than 1 wk, because of the google acc. which i must signup..it took so long! chinese new yr 07 has arrived! so fast huh! thank God for the time of visiting my relatives and 4e1 and admin too! yesterday was fun! mrs koh invited 4e1 06 to her house for visiting! and we bought sakae yusheng! it was fun having the class together and oso playing with her sons! so cute la! after mrs koh house, i rushed to meet the admin ppl at yiqi's house then later we went to kang sheng's house. i miss admin! really! but i decided not n to be involved in orientation two. there willl be other chances again!

ALRIGHT! we had our class bbq today, though it was sad not all turn up, but we had fun ! playing tennis and bbq-ing. here are some pics of 07s26 before and today ! and it was yee le's bday! eveline was so sweet to bake her a cake !

the next step...

well, finally the o lvl results are out..before that, i was praying hard that i will accpet the results no matter what. well, i thank God that the moment i saw my results, i did accept for the moment. howeever, i realised i wasnt really happy, in fact i was disappointed why God didnt give me what i wanted. It took me abt a day to think what exactly God wanted me to do and cope with that unhappy feeling. The day i took my results, i just couldnt take it when i gt home. But i thank God that i finally understand why! oh ya..and i finally made a decision where i shld go..that is jjc. i really really wanted acjc since sec 1..and when the day finally arrived, i realised God's plan for me was not to go to acjc after all. I thank God for friends who gave advice.
Through that tough period of time, i learnt that God had this reason why i didnt do up to my expectations..i have neglected the fact that i shld think what God wants me to have. And i also learnt why God didnt want my name to appear on that screen.things wld have been different..wld i have stayed humble or happily receiving Man's praises which God doesnt want me to have in mind? i really wonder.and i know why i was unhappy, because i kept comparing. But God works in mysterious ways..and im moving on happily! trials will be part of my life and i have to trust the Lord for His will.
I thank God for yf yesterday! i didnt cry lei rachel! haha..we both shared abt our results. And Rev ong gave me an advice which is to make a decision and not regreting after that. :)) Ultimately, God will not short change us if we honour HIM.
So happy today! my mum bought me things which cheered me up! wheee! thanks mummy! :))
can't wait for tml! class gathering at EVE-LINE's place..haha..07s26 rocks! wheee!

LOVE FIESTA 2007 !

I'm back after so long! its about 2 wks since the planning comm started planning for love fiesta..its been tiring yet fun planning! admin does almost everything..frm stamping the sch logos..to counting tickets(as in thousands)..doing banners..wrapping boxes..and so on..its been really fun working with the admin ppl ! i know everyone's names already ! haha..didnt do much hw this wk and needed to stay back everyday to plan until very late..i gt to know the admin ppl much better and i really did enjoy their presence..(:
1 mth has passed-that quick! and results will be out this wk..and then..it will be time to part..its a sad feeling..i love my class 07S26! everyone had fun selling pizza and kebak! haha!
yesterday was love fiesta! finallyyy!! i was incharge of the ticketing in the canteen! its was ok sitting there..but i was happy being able to help out at jj affinity and my class stall too! i ate ALOT..and i saw 4e1 ppl and juniors and of course, church ppl! thanks for coming down!

Well, 2 weeks of lessons in jc has passed...so fast ! its already third wk of jan ! lots of things has happened...last wk, i gt to go back to tanglin to sell the love fiesta tix..and i gt to go to jessica's house to watch high sch musical! like finally..haha..since we ended sch at 11 and left sch at 1.
This wk passed with lots of fun again..though there's more hw..on mon..a new time table is given out and it's time for lessons with the class 07S26! there was leader's interview and more mass dances and meetings for the j1 leaders..joining admin is fun afterall! jjc will be performing at vivo on sat and will be gng there to sell love fiesta tix again..(: im still wondering what cca is best for me..but i tink im gng for e club and squash !
results are coming out real soon ! but the time spent now feels like there's no results to be taken back in feb but to remain in this sch...pray for God's direction and Will to lead me to the right place (:
ohya! its been great gng for prayer meetings on wed and yf is BIG. Praise God !

JJ's orientation camp !

I'm back frm JJ's camp ! thank God he kept me strong and safe! Now i have a gang..haha..the gals are amanda,huiying and Moka! haha..we were rather close during the camp..
camp was cool! we played lots of dirty games and had mass dances. JJ nite was funnn!
Anyway, gt my class and willl be separated frm close frens..but its okie..im gonna meet more new frens ! at the meantime, oso staying close to my other frens..(:

First day at JJC

HEYA ! there goes the first day of sch ! its been a super long day..arrived at jjc with sq..stood arnd until we were asked to go to the hall..wow..when i first stepped into the hall..was quite impressed with the surroundings..like so many leaders arnd holding banners and music blasting..thank God there was a tanglinian in my grp..she's huiying from 4e2! and i gt to meet my pri sch fren in my grp too ! my FAMILY 3 was cool as we had a super enthu leader..oh ya..my grp is OG14 !we ended at 6.30 la ! so late.Tmr's the camp..and its said to be exciting and funnn!

Well, i guess God has a reason for placing me in this sch for the first one and a half mths or so..to observe the surroundings..and if God willing..i might change JC after my results..But i know i have to leave it to the Lord no matter what happens as he knows what's best for me ! :)

A new year begins...

Well, here comes year 2007 ! can't wait to see what God has in place for me ! haha..few things to update on from 2006..

Last week went well..for christmas eve, went caroling to 4 places..its was enjoyable! After that, some of us went over to gwyn's house to stayover !Christmas day was nicee-went to orchard rd with gwyn,shelia,jasmine and lydia. I gt to watch night at the museum with my mom too on one of the days ! and i gt to meet up with my sakae peeps! sq,yining,xing fang and shumin ! though xf couldnt join us eating..we ate alot that day..
on sat-last yf of the yr..the ppl who came were very encouraging! we shared our testimonies for the yr and i pray that more youths will attend yf this yr !

on sunday-new year's eve ! shall talk abt the watchnight.many went up to share their testimonies..when will it be my turn? after that..it was 15 mins before 12am..a grp of youths plus some adults sang songs together b4 reaching the 10, 9 8..where we countdown together! when we reached 0..we didnt shout blessed new yr.. we immediately knelt down and pray to God for His mercies on this new year ! some of the youths popped over at gwyn's house after buying macs..and jas and i stayed over

today(1 jan)- woke up early to attend church leaders prayer conference. Pastor reminded us on being dilligent to read the bible regularly as this year's theme is "study to show thyself approve unto God"

A new year begins-another series of exciting events...let's start the year right and have many moments to cherish as the year goes by !

"Christmas started with a present" musical

Wheee! the musical has came and gone..sob sob..well, yesterday was superb fun and exciting ! i misssed class outing..but overall, i enjoyed myself still! the singing and singing was nice..my throat is hoarse now..haha..Thank God was sustaining everyone..the puppeteers,choir,IT ppl and others..its been a great yr practising together ! All is well grp rocks(8 of us)! hahah..took a lot of pics.
there were quite a number of ppl..though not so many..but food was great ! there was chocolate fountain!

Lanjut trip 2006

I'm back frm Malaysia! this retreat has been really fun and exciting! the constant downpour and fun and laughter everyone had was very memorable. I thank God that i am able to make it for this trip..with my parents along...sigh..haha..i gt to know the senior class and my age guys whom i dont usually talk to. during the trip, we gt to play captain's ball, touch rugby...and the BEST part was pictionary!! the tv was cool as we could play games. Pictionary was REALLY VERy fun! enjoyed that game.(: i enjoyed the fellowship we had and fun!
God was so merciful on our trip back..we had to drive thru a few metres FLOOD which was rather high( my first time experiencing being in a flood)..water went into some of the cars..but thank God we werent swept away by the water..the feeling was rather exciting but scary though.here are some of the pics!

Yf camp 2006

Thank God for yf camp 2006! this yr camp was held at Aloha Loyang changi..by God's grace, 34 campers signed up! This time was my first time being in the camp commitee..Food I/c. Well, i guess God had a reason for me being the food i/c, i really felt tired after a day's work..as there was like continuous things to be done like boiling water washing dishes..but thank God he sustained the kitchen crew ! thank u so much to those who helped me! i really appreciated ur help! without u ppl,i may not be able to survive the camp..
This yr's theme is true friendship..and i enjoyed the messages, though there were only 3 messages i was able to learn what true friendship is and My best fren is definitely Jesus ! We had combined games day with Moriah and i enjoyed myself too!
I thank God for the people at camp..the camp commitee and campers..im sure all of us had enjoyed ourselves..it is through this camp that i gt to know those youths i dont usually talk to.!
Pray that the youths will come for the yf meetings!

Cant wait for the christmas musical! Christmas started with a present ! 23rd dec. (:
Gng to malaysia next week ! I need rest right now!

oh ya..today we had this sc farewell bbq..it was not too bad..thanks juniors!

Taiwan,hk,macau and zhuhai trip 2006

I really thank God for this yr's holiday..though i had to miss out the fun at ss camp..i knew maybe God had a reason..this time i went to 4 different places..i really enjoyed myself
made new frens on the taiwan tour(the girl in the first pic is same age as me and we took rides together at the theme park in taiwan)..hk was cool! disneyland was ok la..small..but enjoyed myself with jess and her bro..! we rode space mountain 9 times! sat this cruise tour for 3 times and the shows were the best !

Took a ferry to macau for the day just to do some sightseeing. and we walked over to the china border to cross to zhu hai! in just one day i got to go two other countries..so cool ! Shopping at zhuhai was fun as things were cheap.

Cant wait for the next holiday ! the next post will be on the yf camp!

hello everyone ! blogging frm hk! just arrived in hk yesterday from the taiwan tour.weather is normal aircon tempt. (: have been shopping and eating..and enjoying myself of course..
during this trip, there were lots of moments to remb and i saw how God works in so many mysterious ways! for eg, i met my dear cousin jenna at a street in taiwan(in singapore we dont meet along streets even though its 36 times smaller),we were screamming so loudy as we were so shocked!
taiwan was not too bad..enjoyed the themepark and shopping and some sight seeing..
can't wait to go to disneyland on mon with jessica! she's in hk too! how cool!
yf camp is coming up! planning the food for the camp. okie..will blog soon after i return to s'pore! God bless!
