Today, I decided to read my previous blog posts, from all the way back in 2004 when i was just sec 2. Reading those posts really brings back memories and laughter (seeing how childish i was then) !

God has been good! I'm finally 21 years old, into my 3rd year in Uni and graduating in 2013. And i will step into working life..what next?

Am thankful to God for many things that has happened all these years..how He placed me in different schools and made different friends - some of whom have been really beloved friends of mine till today. In SMU, i must admit its tough but i'm surviving! Ask any other SMU student and see if they sleep before 12am every night and wake up at 6am? It will be rare to find one. But i am proud to be one of them (: (This doesnt mean i slack okay! ahah) Going into SMU has definitely changed my perspectives. Managing expectations, what do i set to achieve in life? are grades everything? are your groupmates just a means to get good grades?

God has showed my that He is able to give me beyond what i expect, though at times i get upset with certain things that happen. In year 1 sem 1, i managed to get into the Namaste IV team despite so many people signing up! God allowed me to forge new friendships and up till today we are still close friends (: In the beginning of this year, I was looking out for summer internships. Applied for a few, went for 3 different interviews..God closed the first 2 doors, BUT He opened a better door for me! And that was an internship i felt that i had the least chance of getting. On top of that, I was able to apply leave and go for church camp in June - something the other 2 companies didn't allow. The experience and friendships forged with my colleagues were simply amazing and God-given. Next, I applied for exchange(Hunagary being my first choice). When i applied, i wasnt confident of securing a space in Hungary because there were only 2 slots. But God prevailed and I gt a space to study in Hungary! I'm sure as time passes, God will continue to show His power and that He is in control of my life.

I have to constantly remind myelf to count my blessings and see what God has done, rather than dwelling on failures and missed opportunities...

Finally found time to blog after 3 weeks spent in the US! Time really flies man. Lots of things have happened over these short 3 weeks here! work has been fine so far..was given a lot of hrs the past 3 weeks! God has been my provider ever since i gt my money and camera stolen, losing my HP and IPOD at HK airport. My first paycheck came in, and indeed God has been gd! (:

Made new friends, bumped into both nce and nasty customers. I work at HOT POTATO in cedar point and i practically do everything there! slicing potatoes, frying fries,carrying, washing and handling the cash register!! (:

I finally found time to go to the park and enjoy the last 2 days! (: having loads of funnnnn! shopping at walmart is another joy!

Attending church the past 2 weeks was awesome too! glad to meet christians in the US and have fellowship with them! they are really friendly ppl! (:

But planning my travel after and during work is a hassle....still planning!!

But i know time is gna fly and soon i'll be back in Singapore! (:

I'm all set for work and travel USA!! just did most of my packingggg! (: thank God my suitcase is not bursting yet! haha.thank God for the past few days spending time with friends whom i have not met for agesss!! although im quite bored of going out, slacking at home...this feeling is much better than studying and project meetings!!! haha.

I managed to skype with serene last night! and i saw the surroundings of our housing! (: (: looks cool! I can't wait to start work, meet new friends and enjoy the summer! (:

But 3 mths may seem either really long or really short. it depends..but i'm so gonna miss all my loved ones here in sg!!!

Kota Kinabaluuuuu

I'm blogging in my Kota Kinabalu hotel!! (: its called Grand Burneo hotel! It's a really cool hotel becos its inside a shopping mall!
Took a 2 hr flight this morning, touched down and tour bus drove us to hotel! Today was free and easy! (:Had crocodile meat for lunch! tasted super gdddd(: mum and i walked arnd the whole mall and it was still early,,so we decided to catch a movie! we decided to watch When in Rome. and they had student price..i had to show my SMU ezlink card! thank God i brought it with me.hahah! movies here are so cheapppp! like 6RM(S$2+) movie was gddd(: popcorn not so.hahha! oh yes..when the movie theatre started showing the movie, everyone thought they were in the wrong theatre becos it was showing a cartoon movie for 15 mins! ppl had to go out to inform the person in charge! so funny(: my first movie in malaysia and it had to be like that!HAHA

After that, went to Manhattan's fish market for dinner!! ate so much todayyy.

It's gonna be exciting tml! visiting an island and rainforest in the mountains!

THANK GOD for seeing me thru one year at SMU! can't believe i'm no longer a freshie. Anyway, i was smiling so widely after my last paper! i even said a prayer before i handed in my paper! I was praying and thanking God for seeing me thru such a hectic sem. Truly, i'm amazed how God has seen me thru this sem.

Thi sem was kinda stressful. the mods i took this sem were so time consuming! I remember breaking down a few times in the beginning of the sem. I guess God had a reason for me to feel that way..because after the mid term break i gt used to sch life and started taking each day at a time. by exam break i was so relaxed. Exam break and exam period were my most relaxed periods ever, and it's all by God's grace. (: I must say that this sem has been an exciting one for meeee!

I thank God for christian friends in school who constantly encourage and remind me! Indeed, they have been a blessing to me! Not forgetting my dearest brothers and sisters in christ in church too! thank you for praying for me!!!

Here comes summmmeerrr! lots of gatherings coming up and kota kinabalu with mum then WORK AND TRAVEL USAAAAA! (:

Thank God i secured another interview slot with the US embassy! and there was no mentioned for me to pat $50! praying that it is true! (:

God is goooddd. I thought i didn't have enough time to complete my biz law midterm exam..and felt that i wld do badly for that paper! but God gave me better than what i expected!! Praise God! (:

THank God for YF retreat, despite the few who came, i thank God for the precious fellowship we had! LTB execution would be considered a success! thank God everything went smoothly. no hiccups!! (:

Thank God for last sunday's jp outing. went tracting at teban and came back for games! though the turnout was low, i thank God for these little ones who brightened my sunday esp since i had to go to sch after that for meeting! I was really stressed that sunday...but these kids just lifted my spirits! (: THey are such a joy(:

My first negative post in years! Today was an extremely bad day for me. I can't believe i didnt read the instructions propoerly before i went for my US visa interview!!
I was supposed to head to speedwing first in the morning to collect my documents before heading to the US embassy for my interview. I didnt read the part..collect docs at speedwing first. So, my interview was at 9.30am. I reached the US embassy at 8.30am. one hr early. nice. then, first stop, security..he asked me for my appointment letter( i was like what?! of course i didnt have it becos i didnt go to speedwing), and he told me to go home and print. But somehow he managed to call the front desk person to check if i had an appointment, and i did of course. so he let me in.
Next stop: Front desk lady. She asked to see my docs(which i didnt have with me), I said it was with speedwing, then she told me to go in to get queue no. AT THIS POINT OF TIME, IF SHE HAD TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED THOSE DOCS, IWLD HAVE GONE QUICKLY TO SPEEDWING AND TAKE THE DOCS! BUT SHE LET ME IN. nice.
Waited for 20mins for my turn to see the officer to hand in my "docs". Was rejected since i didnt have anything. 9.15am..no docs, how to go for interview at 9.30?
So what i did was i called speedwing and they told me to go down to take my docs and try my "luck" to see if the us embassy wld allow me to go for the interview. I cabbed down and cabbed back. And was rejected. And the front desk lady for super unreasonable and fierce! i was kinda scared if not i wld have persuaded her to let me in since i was only 15 mins late(according to speedwing, there is a grace period)

I seriously felt so stupid today. Like why didnt i think abt the situation whereby if i have no docs with me, how can i even register. I shld have known to go down to speedwing first. WHY AM I SO BLUR. Or why wasnt i thinking? I felt so devasted! I've never missed or turn up late for an interview before. speedwing has to rebook another interview slot and this may cost me $50. Praying that they will waive the fee.

I feel so down now. I was looking forward to a busy and exciting weekend. Now this has kinda dampened my mood. Off to Yf retreat soon! Ltb execution tml. Jp outing then heading to sch for filming of CT proj.

I was asking God why? as i waited for the bus. I felt that it was sth i cldnt bear at the moment in time. I cried. I trusted that He wld make a way when i was in the cab. Now, i'm not sure if i may get another interview slot but I'm trusting that God has His better plans for me.

I'm didnt expect myself to blog before exams. But i felt i needed to pour everything out. No smiley faces for this post. A lesson which i learnt it the hard way...

Today's the last day of 2009! gives me a reason to blog(: well, 2009 has been quite a gd year but can't be compared to 2005! haha(: Thank God for a job for the first 6 mths! totally enjoyed the experience. thank God for the 2 trips with mum before sch started. not forgetting church camp too! (: thank God for A lvl results and getting into the course of my choice. Thank God for the new environment ( frens that i take modules together, CCC, project namaste IV!) It has definitely been an enxciting year ahead. Thank God for Ladies grp ( we had a blessed time doing so many things tgth!) so many things to thank God for!! God is good! the nepal trip was truly a blessed one! Not only did i bless the people there, I myself was blessed too. I wrote my reflections that has to be submitted sooon!!

So many gatherings the past few days and still more to come! Sch's starting. New mods, new grp mates (:

New year ahead,new roles and challenges and I'm wholly depending on God!(:

A memorable first sem in SMU!

One sem is over. how fast! My exams just ended(: thank God for His guidance. I can't believe how much i've gone thru in uni! everything squeezed into 3 mths. WOW.

Thank God for the different grps i gt to work with during this sem. God has given different grps with different talent! (: And im glad i gt to work with each one of them. Technically, i only had 1 week to study for my exams..due to the projects.....but thank God, managed to study as much as i cld!

Project Namaste IV is setting off on thurs and after 3 mths of planning, we are finally setting off for nepal! the team has gone thru so much fun and exciting stuff along the way..choco drive,book drive, t-shirt mess, logistics packing, chalet, TEAM BONDING! We are a great family(: But i missed out a lot during the study break! hhaha..But i gt to study with my DG!! had a great time of studying and bonding too(:

CANT WAIT FOR THURS!!!! (: and will be back on 24th! just in time for christmas! cant wait to spend christmas with my brothers and sisters-in christ(:

Thank God for the 2 recent songs the choir sang recently(: they really spoke to me esp since life in SMU has been gd and bad...
God has spoken to me thru various circumstances. Yes, i know it is gd to be very helpful and understanding as a grp member. But there are limits to how much shld one do for a grp...it comes to the pt where sometimes we have to be firm, and not let others take advantage of our goodwill. Oh wells, grp projects are like that! but God is good. He has granted me different project grps, with different strengths and weaknesses. As i hear of how my friends have grps that the members totally dont help in anything, i start to thank God for whatever grp He has given me(: I was supeeerrr stressed in the morning today. Never in my time in SMU had i felt like that before. am so glad its over(: I Cant STAND last min work! so, whoever is reading this(: make sure u dont get me to do last min work. I dont mind doing just that when its really last min,i get really anxious, and i dont do my best. I do not like not giving the best work.
THank God for my DG in SMU(: We had prayer walk today. We spent time walking arnd the campus, observing anything arnd us, people having grp meetings, eating, chating, slacking..and we prayed as we walked. It was really relaxing, esp after my presentation!!! We went to SMU wellness centre to get a chair massage for 5 mins! hahaha..the place is really gd for calming down and relaxing man(: totally loved the massage chair(: must go there more often to make my tuition fees worth the money!!

More projects and assignments due soooonnn....but Nepal is coming!!! (: thank God for a wonderful Nepal family!

Finally back to blog after a long break(: that becos i gt good news to share!! Thank God i passed my driving TEST!!! whooohooo! Actually im not happy abt the fact that i can drive now but rather, i dont have to waste my time gng BBDC and waste more money. Hhaha! Its really by God grace. In the morning at abt 7.30am..the skies were so red and dark(like as if some tsunami or whatever was coming) at abt 9 i left house for my 9.50 lesson. it was still drizzling. after my lesson..ate at BBDC's canteen for the first time(: and waited for my warmup time at 1230. at abt 135pm i had to go into a waiting rm to wait for the traffic police tester to ome and call me. and guess what, i was the first to be called to sit for the test!! (: and it was SO SUNNY BY THEN!!my tester was really very nice as in extremely nice. even better than some instructors(: i had test route 10 if some of u may know.hahah. roads were not too bad but i came across many obstructions along the way in which one of them i had to cross the double white line( supposed not to, but the tester say okay) the test was so fast! really enjoyed the journey. Knew that God was with me so i didnt feel very nervous! Thanks for praying for me people!
I had to cab down to sch after that to attend 2 mtgs. ( I usually don't cab but i was too happy to be bothered)

Life in SMU is hectic and busy but thank God for gd frens and discipleship group which i have! So many project mtgs..presentations..getting used to it. I have also joined the Nepal CIP trip which will be in Dec. lots of planning to do...but great company!

Taking each day at a time....just doing my best for ultimately, God is in control(:

Stepping into Uni life!

It's mid aug already! wow wheee..mixed feelings abt sch though! but i'm definitely excited!
Firstly, i must thank God that the application to Uni( those matriculation stuff) went well! just awaiting for the TFL application and my ezlink card! THank God for the last week of july which was the most hectic one! attended the first camp(SMU CCC) frm monday to wed. It was enriching and fun except for the worship.hahah! but thank God for new christian frens made in SMU! I attended like 3 workshops after that in that wk! on 31 july was my FTB camp!!! thank God for a great grp! really international grp man. ppl frm myanmar,china, india and S'pore! my faci was coool too! she really guided us after the camp on the bidding stuff!
I am so happy!!! THank God i gt all my biddings successful after the 2nd window! i dont have sch on monday and thurs(: hahah!
And cant believe im at my 4th stage in driving already! my driving test is coming up! 24 sept(: cant wait!!! praying that i will pass on the first try..heheheh!
I have been helping out at galilee kindg..since i have nth to do besides driving..so ya! there was one day which i helped out in the class since a tcher was on MC. gt to interact with the kids! so cute(:
Last week was meaningful! on fri, went out with lydia,sq,rachel and jasmine to picnic! lyd and i went to sks in the morning first. we were all supposed to go the marina barrage. And i went to GOTHERE.SG for directions. but it seemed that instructions were wrong? haha. it said get off at tanjong pagar and walk to the busstop at synergy hub. and when we reached there, no one knew where snergy hub was. and we were stranded in the drizzle but thank God we found a sitting place at the underground exchange to eat our packed lunch! after lunch, we decided to head to esplanade for our picnic instead..hahah! had a great time there! great weather!!!

On sat, ladies grp went to HORT PARK! nice scenery though most of the time we were sitting at some sheltered area.haha! we had a bad experience man..a lizard suddenly dropped frm the roof of some shelter when we were eating..it went to lydia's foot and she lifted her leg up...guess what..the lizard JUMPED ONTO MY THIGH!!! lol..i used my hand to brush to the floor and jasmine was screaming so loudly although it was not on her!! haha..nice one jasmine!!! we were so scared that we headed to another place to continue eating.(:

i still cant believe its aug and im gonna start sch...looking forward to start sch with God guiding me!(:

A different week spent..

Really thank God for a well spent week! got to get down to doing many stuff! Had driving the whole week frm mon to fri(: same instructor! thank God for good instructor! (: ON monday, after driving, met SQ at her house for discipleship at the pool side..great cooling weather! After that, headed to city hall to meet mum and settle tuition fee loan. thank God its settled!! later, headed to orchard to watch 'Threads of Destiny' with yiqing..bad show!! ahhha..
Tue, went for my medical check up! process quite fast(: another task down!yay!

Thurs..went to meet jasmine at JP for dinner before heading to the wake service of Sister SimRou Ling(a church member's niece). Thank God Sister Rou Ling accepted Christ just few days before her death. This young lady is only 28 years old, and she suffered frm stomach cancer 4th stage.Through this, it impacted me more and reminded me how time is short, and if God wants to take away someone in His timing, He will. But this young lady is resting in heaven, free from all pain. I thought to myself, what if one day my heart suddenly stop or my breath is taken away. I've taken for granted that life isnt long on earth...

Fri, went to church after driving to help out with the kindergarden(: After that, attended the funeral service of Sister Sim. It's my first time going down to CCK cemetery to send someone off.
Came home and did my Uni matriculation!! One more down!(:

Saturday was a Happy day!!! My dear cousin Charles got married to Lynn! (: they are such a beautiful and sweet couple(: Church wedding at Wesley methodist church before heading for reception at the pyramid club.headed to church for YF after that(:

Yest was the wedding dinner at fulleton! more relatives came frm this one! all aunties and uncles present but not the cousins...great atmosphere and food(:

Praying for another blessed and fulfilling week spend this week!

Mongolia and Shanghai trip 2009!

Thank God for a blessed and safe trip to china with mum!! (: Totally enjoyed the tour!! only 15 ppl though but met really nice people! Flight delays in china are so common esp the domestic flights!! there was a chinese man who was so angry and complained to the air crew for the flight to HOTHOT frm shanghai. we were delayed in the plane..and had our meals on ground in the plane! haha! mongolia is a nice place! but seems like no one knows where singapore is..only after we tell them we are BELOW malaysia then they OHHH! hahah! food is so oily and saltyyy!! hahah! my tour guide is only 26 yrs old..highlights for the trip were firstly the horse ride(approx 10km-2hrs) everyone thot it was fun before we rode it..until the coming back part..the horses gallopped so fast that some of them, their legs were injured and i cldnt breathe becos the wind was so strong and my bones were like gonna break la! but thank God no one seriously injured! one time experience man!hahah! we paid 60+ sing dollars per person for us to get hurt..hahah.
then the kubiqi desert!! so beautiful! sunny but cooling. sand is so fineee. took the camel ride which was so much more relaxing than the horse ride!!
In shanghai, gt to meet vic and liz for one day and we went to the massage parlour! they have been gng there since they arrived! my first time going for full body massage man! it was goooddd! and liz and i went cycling on the roads of shanghai to some shopping area while vic ran! roads are safe for cycling cos the cars travel slowly!
When both of them left the next day, i went with uncle colin and aunty ailin to the church! thank God for interpretation(: and during my stay in shanghai, i gt to go ice skating with aunty ailin! its been like 7 yrs since i last ice skate? we gt to go cycling again on the roads! how fun!!!
For the first time in my life, i took the plane by myself since my mum went home earlier. flight gt delayed again..but i sat beside this china girl who was abt my age and she had flu but she wore mask! hahah! (:

My official last day at HTC!

Can't believe 6 mths have passed! just like that! But I'm really thankful to God that i worked for this 6 mths and i have really learnt a lot frm working, not just abt accounting or any other basic skills required for certain job scopes but also different work etiquette. thank God for the experience!(: totally enjoyed my time in HTC with the so many adventures along the way!

I'm off to Mongolia and Shanghai till the 8 july! midnight flight tonight! till then, take care people! (:

Well, monday didnt exactly start of well, but thank God the week ended well! on monday, some drivers came to collect their cheques(and fyi, they are resigned workers), there was one who was super rude and irritated with his salary being deducted for his traffic offence, and he felt the company shld pay for it and blah blah..so he was like being demanding and unreasonable towards me..i didnt know what to do la cos its not like i can do anything...but anyway, thank God he left after that with his fellow work mates and has not come back since!! and one of them, a malaysian had to come back to sg again to collect his last payment, and i didnt know when his pay wld be ready so i was told to tell him a certain date since he said he cldnt be contacted..but as the days went i reaslied that the date that was given to him was impossible for him to collect his cheque and i was so worried! i prayed to God, and He answered my prayer! In the end, i asked the supervisor if he cld contact him not to come until the cheque is ready and the worker was contactable!! phew....

On tue was my dinner date with my ex-colleagues! we went to the manhattan fish market at P.S! my first time gng there and the food is gddd!! so glad to catch up them after abt a mth since meiying left...they presented me with a very beautifully done photo collage which i felt so touched! memories of what happened just a few mths ago made me feel nostalgic...

And yest! our long awaited night safari date finally came! Our refers to jasmine,rachel,jolynn and i! thank God for the GSS night safari has! 50% of the ticket okay! had a gd exercise walking arnd the whole area and great time tgth! (: really enjoyed myself(:

Today, swimming at sq's house with hui hui and xing fang! (: gd exercise again!! and had discipleship with sq before yf! at night, we went to imm for dinner..and after dinner as we walked to daiso and they was a blind man queuing at the counter..after he paid up, no one else led him to where he was gng and sq offered to help..so i followed her and the blind man to the shutter service which he needed to take..our first time leading a very cheerful blind person(:

God has been merciful to me this week! even as i started the week with longer working hrs..thank God time passed so quickly!! and thank God for strength too..(: managed to go forprayer mtg on wed, so many ppl turned up!

Yest was a super busy day for me!! met sq early in the morning to go back to JJ to take our cert

s and testimonials..we supposedly went too early that the guard told us that the office was not

opened..but thank God, we walked to the office..there was one guy over there!Though he was

gathering at settler's cafe!! had a great time playing games in which we changed after one round..so funny la! we are easily bored by the games the ppl introduce..hahah! at abt 4.40 i then rushed down to church for the combined yf, yaf anf evangel yf meeting!! had a blessed time of games and fellowship! we had steamboat for dinner...and guss what happened at my table...

in the midst of the steamboat..the gas ran out so we decided to change it..and the gas was

inserted and they had problems starting the fire..I felt God was trying to tell me to put my hand

s in front of my face in case it really explodes( which i didnt think it wld happen at that pt in

time..) and suddenly....BOOM..large flames came up..but thank GOD it didnt explode..some boys

at my table tried to put it out but it was too big..darrell rushed to the table and open the fire

extinguisher!! thank God no one was hurt..just someone who had his hair a little burned..

after that, i was amazed how God led me to stretch my hands and protected my face..if not i really dont know what may happen..of course i quickly stepped back far when the big flames

came up suddenly...

OH yes, went with jasmine and cynthia to imm today! we did the DR FISH SPA man!!! my first

time!! it was a tickling and funny experience! hahah! we went for the strong biting fish someone

Thank God for the church camp that just passed! (: though there were only88 ppl this yr, i thank God for the sweet fellowship everyone had! I've definitely understand better what is takes to be a citizen of the kingdom of heaven! During this camp, i also gt to see how an 87 yr old lady can be so active too! she's so cute(: had so much fun playing tabooo during free times! and we gt to go malacca town on one of the days..time passed so fast during camp!!

Hey!! i havent blogged for so long because my laptop has not been with me for one mth!! im rather sad at the situation sony gives me..i gt back my laptop after three weeks, brought it home and realised they have not fixed the problem..brought it back and the service person called me the next day that to repair cost 1273!! i was shocked la! i have not even paid finish my laptop and now i have to pay so much to repair? but thank God so far, i have not like been so badly affected by my spoilt laptop for more than an hr? hahah!well, at least i still get to use the computers available and work and at home! (:
But im praying hard that i will be able to repair it another place, definitely not sony! thank God my mum called the manager and he offered 40% discount but still...500 over! but it was nice of him to waive the assesment fee of 64.20~ (: so happy! i dont think i can trust sony laptops now so sad!!

Anw, 5 mths have passed! so fast! my friends working with me are slowly leaving me! jy is leaving this fri..and its all down to me!

Thank God for today! so happppy!! i've been praying for some of my friends' salvation and God answered one today! Sq, her sis and her bro came to church today(: although i had to leave service halfway to teach creche, thank God for frens who kept them company. we all went for lunch after that..i was supposed to go senior cat. as usual, but i guess somehow led me to go into the library with sq and rachel and i decided to just stay there and do the album for elder john.so after we finished doing thealbum, rachel had to meet beth in the library..so i had free time with sq(: i began to ask her abt the easter thing she attended..and i was intention about emphasising the gospel again to her(: and after all the talking and sharing..i asked if she wld like to pray with me to receive christ and she agreed!! i was so elated!! so i prayed with her to receive christ..and after that hugged her!! ive been praying for her so long!! And God was definitely in our mdist today. TO God be the glory! I hope and will now set aside time on weekday nights to meet for discipleship with her, even as i disciple jolynn and be discipled by Shelia(:

It's mid april already!! so fast! ending working in one half mths! so sad, meiying leaving end april..hope we all meet up even after we end our work at HTC!
Anw, i finally signed up for driving! after i came back from hk(: have attended the practice and lessons. but my BTT is really far away...in may. after that, im gna chiong everyday from the practical side! praying that i will finish quickly, but i know i cant finish before sch starts..
Thank God for seeing me thru the 2 interviews, at SPRING and SMU. its was draining i must say..and i received an email frm SPRING one wk later, saying im not into the next round. But i still thank God(: maybe SPRING is not for me. And i just received a letter frm SMU today!! whoo hooo! thank God i am accepted into the business sch(: but im still waiting for nus reply.. but most likely gng to SMU(:

Thank God im back safely with my mum! came home on sat afternoon..was still energetic to go out and sign up for driving at BBDC and for dinner with Shelia. However, by 8 plus, i was super tired already.

Well, HK was great! shenzhen wasnt gd..quite boring.hahha! but i feel that 4-5 days in hk is just nice..cos i shopped until sian la. but food is gddd! esp dim sum and mango desserts..not forgetting..GOOSE! (: yummy!! my mum and i did lots of WALKING and shopping. thank God for the coool weather too. oh yes, i didnt go disneyland this time round since i went b4..but we took the MTR to the disneyland station and there were so many pictures to take already! the train and station was so nice! and i bought some minnie stuff toy keychain with mirror at the airport(:

Popeyes breakfast and lunch is gddd! the bread thingy is so niceee.

OH yes, i was trying on clothes at a departmental store and the lay asked me how old i was. and i asked her to guess..and she said..12. i was like??!! i told her i was 19 and she kept saying sorry.lol. then she asked another collegue to guess and she said 16yrs..(: iwas happyy! ahhaha!

another interesting thing! on our flight back, my mum realised the head of the cabin crew is my father's fren! then we said HI(: and He served us FIRST class food okay on top of our economy class food.(: soup, SUPERB haggen das sundae and chocolates! he oso gave me a SIA bear! the dessert for economy class was vanillia ice-cream la..of course i didnt take..not nice..but a few mins later..thank God he came with a much nicer Chocolatey sundae!! woohoo!yummy.

Yest, went to aunty nancy's house for gathering again! and it was the day for the EARTH HOUR to take place. and my aunt prepared so many candles(cute ones) and we really switched off the function rm lights off for one hr! and my cousins and i played bridge in the dark(:

I'm in HK now! (: i must thank God for some things that has happened. Before i boarded the plan in sg, we had to do the scanning of the bag..and it is not allowed to bring more than 100ml liquid on board. i only realised after checking in our luggages that i have my 120ml contact solution in my backpac! i cldnt retrive my luggage so i have to just pretend to be innocent, and depend on God that i am able to bring it on board if not i wld nt have my contact's solution! and guess what? my bag passed thru safely the scanning..becos...(if u want to know the ans, come ask me directly(: shall not expose it here)
And when i boarded the plane, i thot i was the youngest la..seriously no children one. but they were like 3 hk children i think. I quickly asked the air stewardess for the soft toy that SIA always have la.She laughed and smile and me, then went to check it out. I gt some blue stuffed toy la..dont know what charater.hahah! then a guy beside me told me " You really know what to ask for huh.HAHA. my children are big already ,if not i wld take" I laughed and smile, thinking that his children shld be arnd my age la..cos he not say very old.
OHyes. yest i went to this shopping centre and my mum and i saw so many police!! they were investigating on a burglared watch shop! and i saw the whole rack of expensive watches stolen la! so exciting and scary. then the police went to the nxt level and went thru this secluded door which i think they believed the burglars escaped thru! I realise i see so many police on the streets of HK, just like how the dramas show...
Its been 2 days of shopping and eating! heading to shenzhen later and its raining now..COLD(:

Thank God for a great weeeekkk! realllyy great! on monday, aunty nancy treated the TEMP workers a.k.a A lvl students to lunch at swensens!! thank God everyone did well so we decided to go for a celebration! 1 for 1 lunch okay! so yummmmyy!

Then on thurs, finallyyy, gathering with aunty yoke siong for dinner! rachel, jasmine and i went for dinner with aunty yoke siong at CHIJMES, at a jap restaurant! nice environment that we cld actually fall asleep! hahah! fooddd is superb! great quality! thank God for a get together(: we enjoyed ourselves.

Today, we worked till 6 for a reason.hahha! but something gd, becos the 3 of us plus GM was gonna have a treat from the boss son who did well for A lvls! We had JAP food again! coool!! jap buffet at Hoshi IMM! (: we ordered a lot of gd foooddd.And there were some not so nice food..haha..such as the greentea icecream, we let it melt there! we tried to hide some poor prawn under stacks of plates! laughed a lot tonight!

It was indeeed a happy week for me! can't wait for more gatherings coming uppp!

I REALLY THANK GOD for my A lvl results! I must say that it was by God's grace that i gt the results way above my expectations! as long i dont compare with those who gt much better grades..IM really CONTENTED and HAPPPY!! Now i picture even better why God didn't let me do as well in O lvls(as i aimed), placed me in JJ. He has directed my paths frm the beginning(: Am thankful for all the encouragement i've received during exams and before the results.

Now, its time for me to be prayerful abt what i wanna do nxt. i realised how i dont have one thing that i wanna do badly.when ppl ask me, i dont really know how to answer but just throw some options.

Yest was a great day! went to work in our sch uniforms!! I really miss wearing sch u!!and we were rather excited abt it. just before lunch, we gt the news that there wasnt transport out to woodlands for lunch. there goes our fast food day...until....becos jy was reluctant to walk to kranji...we pleaded someone to drive us..haha..in the end someone really drove us there!! but we didnt order student's meal la..we ate the mac value meal! (: totally enjoyed our lunch. im waiting for pics from meiying to be posted up!

after work, met up with yq and fy at Lot 1. its actually so small la..we walked the whole shopping centre and it was not even 8pm la. but we went for nice desserttsss!! (:

It's mid feb already! two and a half mths at work! work has been alright..starting to do more challenging stuff.(: Met a new friend, Liwen who is so cute and cunning! Ohyes, now i end work at 515 instead of 545 cos the van cannot squeeze too many ppl. there's pros and cons but i shall look at the pros which is to go home earlier!
some highlights of the mth are..the office ppl were invited to lena's house for steamboat in the beginning feb! and i had a relative gathering as charmaine came back(: thank God for the opportunity to meet up again!
Went back with sq on friday the 13th for JJ nite. it was alright..but we were discussing abt how our time in jj went by like that, frm the moment we stepped into jj for our first orientation. I must say i have really had an eventful time in JJ with the much activities i participated due to ON friends i have! (: im missing wearing uniform..seriously!

The fireproof video watched on valentine's day was really gddd. must recommend to many ppl! hahah! but it was a saddd one but happy ending(: thank God for such a production!

Yesterday, i went to media corp with sq and her mum and cousin as we had free tickets to some variety show in which S.H.E appeared to sing. i think most ppl went because of S.H.E..hahah! after the show, i walked into a crowded lift and didnt realise Moses Lim was just in front of me!! until sq told me and that many ppl in the lift were whispering abt.He helped us hold the lift button! so nice(:

I guess rumours of results coming out on 6 march is true.don't really feel much now because I know i did my best and God already planned what i deserved. I shld prepare myself for that day!! roughly know what i wanna study but its up to results to decide again.

yest was fun! the three girls did not do our normal daily work but instead some PHYSICAL work! but it was fun! we packed 800 oranges into the bags, washed,wiped and carried 400 glass cups! i did the carrying okay! after that we wrapped lucky draw presents! the presents are really attractive..hi fi set,mp3, branded watches, hampers... some of them were so big that we had to join many A3 white paper tgth to create a wrapping paper! really thank God for strength yest..did so many things! we had lunch and then went to decorate the lucky draw table and pasted the HUA TIONG CONTRACTOR sticker at the background of the stage. the weather was really hot!! there was a karaoke system set up for us to sing but we didnt want to sing since its mostly CNY songs la! haha..but the songs were blasted at abt 3pm? and they were ringing in our head as we rested at the office for a while.

we gave out peanuts to the 40 tables brought down the HEAVY lucky draw prizes down and up the stage..we gals did it okay.the men just sat down and watch us la.but many blengah workers so nice la..they helped us carry the cups out! buffet started and performances. we were waiting for the lucky draw la!haha..but we left after the first lucky draw cos too late...

Work has been alright! i kind of like the working environment..as in the people arnd me..not the construction site! hahah! its really different being at work and at sch...everyday as i sit at the mrt station waiting to board the train..i see how the working adults rush to sit the train which goes in the east direction..i felt that my time will come...being a full time working adult....
But for now, im really enjoying every moment! by God's grace, i feel excited for work though there are times are sianness...but there's really less stress compared to studying for exams...FOR NOW..thats what many working ppl may say that studying is better..im not sure yet.

Thank God that i am able to attend precept class this year..but im rather confused and blur at times. oh..and i hve been missing senior cat due to the mission report which i have been doing. i hope to attend this sunday! ladies grp on sat for enjoyable! we shared our resolutions for the year and commitments and we learnt cross stitching frm aunty amy! i really hope to complete that piece of work! (: its really difficult.hahah!

Chiangmai mission trip 2008!

God has been real to me throughout this whole trip! thank God i made it for this mission trip! I thank God for the team of 27, for His mercies as we travelled, and for His Love for the team and His ppl inChiangmai! It was a memorable trip i must say esp to the rural villages. The people there are really kind and loving. though they dont have much, they give their very best! Street evangelism was very encouraging as the people there accepted the tracts with appreciation and heartful thanks! really touched by that(: thank God for the fellowship among the team members as well as the Thai friends..really gt to know many others better! I miss chiangmai! God-willing, i will be back there next yr! (: will upload the pics soon as my memory card is not with me.

Thank God for this yr's camp! i have outgrown the camp but this yr, thank God i decided to helped out at the children's camp! (: it was a joy to serve in this area for the little ones are sooo adorable and innocent though at times they are naughty. I had a great time interacting with all of them! thank God for the evangelistic team too. we prayed tgth as a team and planned on how we shld reach out to the kids at camp. and by God's grace, we managed to cover most of the kids with many accepting Jesus as their personal saviour and some being reassured of their salvation!(: I had the opportunity to reach out to 5 children(:

Thoughout this camp, the circumstances made me relied on God's strength for i knew i cldnt do it on my own strength while ensuring my grp was behaving since my grp had the youngest campers. But thank God for this bunch of young children(: The night programmes were thought provoking. it made me think deep and i have definitely learnt a lot frm aunty Jenny and the commitee thru their sharing. All in all, God has really blessed everyone at camp! praise God!

Dec 2008 has arrived! how fast!! well, thank God for certain events which has come and gone(:

The yf went for a goat farm outing at Hay Dairies! it was a wonderful experience feeding goats! hahah! went for a christmas musical by baptise church i think called "The promise" musical. Jolynn received 7 free tix frm an aunty at je interchange the day b4 the musical. But in the end, only Jolynn, brenda and i made it! but it was a great musical! (: On sunday, sq and yq came to my church for gospel sunday! thank God they cld make it! (:

There's so much time for me right now..i have been either gng out or staying at home to clear stuff. On monday, went to church in the morning to do some packing for the chiangmai trip-clothes to be brought over for the poor. After that, Yq and Fy came over to my house to chill! we watched "The parent trap" and went off to imm. On tue, accompanied Jolynn to change her passport photo at lavender. Well, in the end she cldnt but needed to change a new passport. We then headed to bugis for shopping! we walked a lot but time passed so slowly..hahhaa..we WALKED to suntec frm there.(: walkwalk..take photos..we ate quite a lot too(: went to esplanade and raffles city before heading home! its was a tiring day but we had a great time tgth! (: Thank God for that! Yest, went out with my mum to city hall again for more shopping and walking..after that went to church for prayer mtg! thank God i shared! its been long since i last shared too..(:

finallyy after abt one yr(or am i exaggerating?) the 3 of us can go out tgth! and its rachel's first trip to SKS! had a meaningful time tgth! we headed to the Ulu SKS and rachel and i gt some stuff over there! oh ya! the bus we boarded which headed to sks was super special! i was totallly excited! the interior had seats which were like frm an F1 car! (: super coool la! next we headed to vivo for shoppingg! rachel and i were looking out for stuff for prom. jasmine helped us! hhaha! ate ben and jerry's! (: we were all so tired from the walking...headed home and i typed out my personal testimony of salvation! THis hw of mine has been due for quite a while hahah! thank God i did it on fri! had cottage meeting at Shaun and Brenda's house yest! thank God for the fellowship and yummmy foodd! celebrated my bro's bday too! oh yes! today, i'm very encouraged by the number of ppl who signed up for yf camp!

29 sep- my first anniversary for discipleship with shelia jie! truly, i thank God for this sister-in-christ who had discipled me for a year! ive learnt a lot thru studying God's word tgth. Also, she has been a great encouragement to me! (:

4 oct- had a 4e1 gathering! after so long!thank God for a great catch up with many of my ex classmates! (:

18 oct- Sister's appreciaition nite! (: the sisters gt to relax and enjoy that nite! the bro's cooked at prepared the activity! (: Thank God for the wonderful evening with coool food and "marathon"(:

29 oct and 1 NOv- thank God i made the decision to help out at the kindergarden concert. it was a tough decision since it was really near my A lvls..but thank God for time off to relax and play with the kids(:

3 nov-20 nov - A lvl period. well, thank God for seeing me thru this period of time. felt healthy and strong(: thank God for everyone's smses(verses of encouragement)! it served as a reminder before i took every paper. thanks my dear friends! (: Thank God i relied on His strength and committed each paper to Him. AM SO GLAD ITS OVER!!!!!! rachel, u can go crazy now! hhahah!

Thank God for a chance to meet up more frequently with my cousins this yr as compared to past few yrs! Its been a long while since we had such wonderful gatherings! I guess this usually happens when cousins frm overseas come back to sg! haha! Liz and vic came back a while ago while i was having my prelims..but thank God i made it to the august babies bday celebration! and had a cousin's dinner in town. yest, had another cousins' dinner at sarah's place. the wed's dinner was cancelled becos no one knew what was happening..but it was gd to meet up again before vic left yest nite.(: charmaine is back too! we played bridge again and took pics. the ladies were all painting their nails while i was playing bridge and i decided to to paint my toetails and have fun! It's more than a mth since i last blogged..a lot fo things have happen..but firstly..i thank God my prelims are over! the first hurdle is over..anw, thank God for good health throughout the 2 and a half weeks! Let me update what has happened over the past one mth..just so grateful to God! (:

During the one week study break (4-10Aug)

-Jessica came back to Singapore! Sq and i had dinner on a weekday(:. Had a meaningful time! On national day, the ladiesgroup had our first meeting at gwyn's house! thank God for this small grp where we can all encourage each other and to learn to be women after God's heart. Had a lot of cool things happened on national day..$1 on every old chang kee's snacks..popular 20% storewide!so i went to imm.

On sunday, sq and i decided,despite our exams, we went to jessica's bbq! (: gt to catch up with marlene,huihui,shi ning and kelly t!

The next sat,16 aug, went to a family gathering to celebrate my 2 cousins bd!! and vic and liz were back frm UK so we had a great time catching up!! fooddd was gd! (:

The next week, 19 aug, had a cousin's dinner in town..had a better chance to talk more that night..we recollected the events spent tgth as cousins..really missed those times..hahah! we started laughing at silly events...(:

23 aug(sat), i made the decision earlier to go for combined YF meeting...but to be a first aider..hha..it was really funny cos i dont really know what to do..but i cld sit at the station and study. but guess what, i ended up chating and taking pics..hahha..but thank God that i managed to study a little and had a great fellowship during bbq(:

During this period of prelims, it wasnt all abt studying..there was olympics!! i was super distracted by the olympics..the beginning was archery..i think this sport is really coool! you dont have to be young or slim..(: i also watched swimming, volleyball,gymnastics(the best!),table tennis,tennis,diving.(: I love to see china's gymnasts and divers! they are realllyy gooood! (:

Olympics was a major distraction that i had to go to church on some days to study with yvonne(:

All in all, i thank God for sustaining me during this period of time as well as being able to take time off to spend with loved ones and friends(:

3 weeks into term 3..im left with 4 weeks to prelims..im getting excited abt alvls coming and ending and am really starting to feel pressured. thank God for the precious reminder during discipleship regarding my earthly and heavenly treasures..i realised how much i have put in and time effort into studies these past few mths..which is considered an earthly treasure..and becos of that..other things will tend to be neglected by me....thank God for the song " Where your heart is".

its been really long since i last updated! yes..june holis are over so are my midyrs!! was quite disappointed with my bio paper..guess ive learnt not to focus on certain chapters or even try to spot qns...ohwell, im glad thru these mistakes,im aware of how i shldnt make these mistakes for alvls(: thank God for the reminder frm Shelia that God makes no mistakes(:

this term's lessons end really early! but it's gonna be more hectic.with more tests...

anyway, the first week of sch was great! although 2 days were down for exams..but i caught the movie,"get smart" with yq and fy!(: super funny show!

Kite flying with the yfers at wcp yest was greatttt!! the kites are much bigger and better and colourful compared to the previous kites(: sis charissa and lydia took so many photos with the camera i brought! and we had a great time of fellowship at wcp macs! we were staring into the LCD screen for super long, looking at the funny msgs ppl have sent..and debo and i decided to try out and send a msg! but all the gals waited so long for the 2 msgs to come out and we cld practically remb exactly word for word what were the msgs shown on the screen..hahga..super funny la! later some other gals tried to send in..but we waited so long that we decided to leave...

OH WELL,im 18..yes im old. But really thank God for sustaining me for 18 yrs! im like 1/4 thru my life already? i really want to remain as 16!! i dont feel 18. anyway, Had a great youth retreat on 6june-7june. it was a really relaxed retreat(: gt to watch end of the spear again..and the message was clearer the second time i watched. am really encouraged by the brave and committed men and their wives, and their children too. everyone celebrated my bday at 1.00am and it was way passed my bedtime! slept straight away after that.(: the next day, due to lack of sleep and maybe the food, i didnt feel well the next day (what a bad day to begin! and it was my bday!) but thank God i went back in the morning to sleep and by afternoon before yf, i was feeling better. watched william tyndale(cartoon) for yf. another great man who was so passionate abt translating the bible into english so that we cld understand God's word. He was burnt to death for his work which was considered against the law at that time! oh ya! by night, i was so happy becos my fav tennis player ivanovic won the french open! yay! what a happy moment on my bday! (:

i have to blogged abt what i saw today. for the first time in my life, i saw a thief or robber(not sure) gt nabbed outside the spectacle hut at jec!! i walked into the door at the prima deli side and saw the librarian security there and many ppl standing in a single file(i was puzzled seriously, i thot they queuing for some free gift or what,cld not piece the info abt security guard and crowd tght) then i saw someone on the floor at spectacle hut and two guys i tink holding the palm(still cannot see everything yet...)of the guy in the floor. At this moment i thot someone fainted..but actaully the 2 guys were restraining him from escaping but i dont know what's the reason la..i just walk pass the scene with the single file of ppl still staring..so LOL?

ECLUB CAMP 2008!

One wk of the holis have passed! so fast!!thank God for a great weeek!! i studied,went shopping,played,played,played and never had such fun in such a long time!!! To be honest, i wasnt looking forward to the camp(jasmine..dont be too sad yet..haha..read on..) becos i was afraid the j1s will not be cooperative or wld find the games boringgg...plus i was in the games comm. and the expected no. of campers were 100 over? well, what happened at camp made me changed my mindset on what wld happen at camp!! thank God that most of the activities went on smoothly despite some probs due to weather and time.we had 50+ campers instead. and guess what most of the j2s spent their time doing at camp...we played so many games at the LN!! we started the bridge craze again and i finally learnt how to play cluedo!! its so fun! gt closer to some j2s whom i usually dont talk to in eclub..bridging buddies louisa , yong xin and ying ming too! we gt ym and sq hooked on the game! hahah! i didnt bring anything to study cos i thot camp sure no time to do anything but it ended up with lots of time..but to play and EAT! (: i really enjoyed myself! enite planned by the j1s was superb!! they really did a great job esp the nite games which was totally disgusting. but everyone had fun(: thanks to the planning comm for all your hardwk!

I realllyy thank God i went for this outing! was quite hesistant when jasmine asked me on sat although i knew i wanted to go..becos of this week's 3 tests la! but anyway, i decided to take time off today! i sat the new monorail for the first time! Learnt a lot frm diff things that happen(: and i really appreciate Dn Chung and his family for all the efforts put into organising this outing(: we went for the sky ride and luge ride after our activities and headed to vivo for crystal jade lunch! their kindness has made me want to be a blessing to others in future as i start work! thank God for jj's sports day 08! had a great time over the few weeks helping out as starters..on sports day itself..i gt to reload the gun!!! rather scary at first but was exciting after a few times of reloading! am glad banni won the cheering competition again!! (: Banni did well! shi jie and i took quite a few pics and when i went to the photo shop to develop a 5R photo for mr ng, i dont know what happen to the card and the aunty said all my photos were missing as she transfered over!!! i was like oh no!!! previous pics also deleted..but thank God i kept calm.she told me she will ask her boss to help recover the files..and THANK GOD...today i went back and most of the previous photos were recovered la! although i just needed those i told on sports day as i had not put them in my com. so God gave me a even better surprise..i gt a cd with all the pics and i gt a free 5R photo cos the aunty accidentally printed extra! so i was like WOOHHOOO!! hahah!

Tracting yest was great! so exciting to give out foreign tracts and see how the foreigners get excited when they see a tract of their language! and i cut my hair today!! very short now..(:

before i blog abt talentime,let me talk abt other things first! Firstly, i thank God that maths lecture test has postponed to the following thurs instead of being on the same day as econs mid yr! thank God for sustaining my mom for ** years! hahah! went to sakura with her without the guys since they cldnt make it. and i made the cake formation i did for my bro 2 yrs ago! haha..using their cheesecakes! talentime was wonderful! it was great helping mr azmi with the refreshments and we gt to seat at the circle line area..which means at the top!! (:it was super funny when we had to run out quickly before the interval to prepare the refreshments.but some of us came out earlier and missed the last dance performance. we took many photos too(: hey 28! here's the pics u have been waiting for! will send u when i see u online! April has almost ended!! April has been rather enjoyable and eventful(: By God's grace, i went thru april feeling relaxed and happy..i gt to catch a movie with jasmine and helped out at sports heats for 3 dayss! it was really exciting helping out and cheering runners on! but one thing i wld regret is that i didnt participate in any events..maybe fartlek? im not too sure yet.
despite being relaxed most of the time, at the back of my mind i wld think of how close A lvls are coming!!! But i thank God i constantly remind myself to do my best for He has my future in His hands..nth can change it. thank God for frens who never fail to encourage and assure me(:
I finally went out shopping on sunday after so long! went out with jasmine, shelia and Gwyn to Bugis. But jas and shelia left earlier. then gwyn and i went to raffles city. Had a great time shopping and talking to her abt certain things(: today is the official step down for most eclub members..but im still staying on to help with the upcoming camp!

I'm finally back after one mth!!! Lots of things to be updated!! Well, I thank God for seeing me thru this BUSY month! Some highlights of the month are senior class retreat on the eve of easter..we went for sunrise service at macritche on easter sunday! Thank God that every yr many churches come together to rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus(:

I gt to interview the jc1s joing eclub..enjoyable experience..(: so in future, we will know what the interviewer is looking out for after being an interviewer.

I gt to watch a dinosaur show at omni theatre and after that yq came over to my house for the first time(:

Yf anniversary on 5 april..as usual, jasmine and i were ics for refreshments...we had to go to imm and buy lots of food and the cake was heavy but yummmy! eh jasmine..although it was ex but very nice..anw one time only! hahah

This week...i gt to meet cecilia and HUihui for lunch at jec!! like finalllyy...then met up with sq and we all went to library to study(:

1/4 of the yr has passed...time really flies..more tests and exams coming up!! really gt to leave them all to God. I thank God for a recent reminder from the daily bread.

The march holidays have come and gone! how time flies!! well, i think i didnt waste my march holidays away as i did different things(: Thank God for time spent with different people though i didnt get to catch up with my sec sch mates..i promise u all..JUNE!

On monday, met up with sq at je library to do bu4 finance and study..guess what? we met kelly chua at the library and asked her to sit with us! gt to catch up with her! (:

On tue, went out with fy and yq to orchard! it was really a bad day to go out as it was raining non-stop plus it was heavy rain!! but thank God we had our umbrellas with us.(:we were so tired from all the walking arnd in the rain!

On wed, gt to catch a movie with jasmine and grace at THE CATHAY! we watched sky of love(: nice moviee..but i wasnt really touched as compared to jasmine and grace la! ahhah!

on thurs, decided to visit the tf retreat at aloha loyang with grace and mag! had a great time catching up with the younger ones but mostly with mag and isabelle as we were studying tgth before the bbq(: had a great time snacking and studying! isabelle's only pri 6 and she's so hardworking!

today, had to go back to sch for econs lesson! and i'm back at home now after a meal with binbin and anling.

I figured that if i had to blog abt youth olympics..i had to do it now..becos next 2 weeks is going to be busy for me! 4 tests in a row next week? 3 tests the followsing wk! anw, i'm glad i participated as being a motivator for the countdown at padang yest.! jjc was invited to cheer at padang (: cheers and mass dance and funny moves! jjc gave our best at padang and we all enjoyed ourselves! the moment before the result of who won was realllyy exciting and scary..and when they finally announced SIngapore, everyone yelled! and i hugged yq la! hahah..it was really memorable! thank God for the opportunity to witness the result! Thank God for this sat nite where the yf and tf cld meet tgth for reunion dinner..(: as usual, jasmine and i were in charge of food..thank God for the right amt of food bought! ohya! last sat was really great! the yfers were invited to Rev Ong's house for CNY lunch and we had a blessed time of fellowship(: after that we headed to Uncle Kok wah's house for more food and fellowship! we watched this touching movie " Facing the giants"...a really good movie to watch! Thank God for a great week at sch! thanks to alll who gave chocolates and letters during valentine's day!received a flower frm my bro on valentine's day! so sweet rite(: and senior class gals received 3 stalks of roses each frm senior class boys yesterday..how sweet of them too! we gave chocolates in return! Before i blog abt CNY, i wld like to say how great this week had been! I thank God for a rather relaxed week since it was only 2 days of sch! i gt to catch 27 dresses with fy and yq! like finally, we all 3 cld catch a movie tght at vivo. after that, i persuaded sq to accompany me to NUS cutural hall to watch "A chorus Line" production of Tanglin sec! It was ok but just a lot of talking instead of singing and dancing..very different frm the Joseph musical we had in 2004.

Had a wonderful CNY eve yest in jj and tanglin! we had tossing of Yusheng session with our own classes! after that, some of the S26ians went to meet GANMA at the staffroom! HEYAA! i've been watching the tennis australian matches for the past few days..and i must say that God spoke to me thru these matches..that He is fair and does not make one perfect and every one makes errors! my fav lady player, justine henin, world no.1 lost in straight sets to maria..one of which was 6-0..she has never gt 6-0 in a long while...another match..nadal, world no. 2..lost to an UNSEEDED player in 3 straight sets..no fight at all..and the most shocking one of all was today's federer world no. 1 lost in STRAIGHT sets to Novak Djokovic!! i thought there wld be a fight..but the score just goes to show that no one can be perfect in their every match(: But i'm really happy for djokovic!! was rather sad that justine lost, but i realised that after a tournament, who wld remb who won?? so i shldnt brood over such stuff(:

am starting to get busy already and feeling the stress of having 3 tests next wk!! am excited for tml's concert at esplanade! (:

Another thing, i'm really encouraged by the attendance for YF this year! i really hope more youths will continue to attend YF faithfully till the end of the year! Youth choir has begun, and im enjoying it! (:

HEYA! i know i'm slow to blog..haha..the year 2008 has already started 5 days ago..but anw, i thank God for seeing me thru year 2007. Even as i stepped into a new environment, i thank God for new friends i've made, and for being able to cope in my first year of jc. it was a struggle in the beginning...but im thankful that i pulled thru(: S26, S28 will always be in my memory! 2007 has been quite a different year for me as i gt to attend prayer meetings more often than previous years,i gt to study in church,i had an opportunity to work! (: God has been really good to me in 2007!
So, as i step into year 2008, i hope that it will not be only be just seen a year of struggles and trials,but that i may be able to live in joy with God watching over me! (: time really flies!!

15-16 dec: Went to disneyland for the whole day while in LA and i really enjoyed myself with the rides,shows and shopping+ eating! even though it was a weekend, thank God we didnt have to queue for more than an hr for the rides! the next day, we went over to california adventure park which had more thrilling rides and they had this high school musical performance!(: since we didnt need so much time at that theme park, we walked over to disneyland for more fun! we had this 2 day pass for both parks so we cld go to any of the 2. ate this super huge turkey leg which was like both my mum's and my lunch and dinner on two days? it was so big that we cldnt finish on one of the days..

17 dec: had a tour to universal studios! was rather excited for this trip! its was quite fun and interesting to see how movies were produce though i expected more...but i still enjoyed myself! (: had an LA tour in the night..(:

I must say that God provides! throughout this trip i have been worrying on how the accomodation or travel wld turn out in san francisco wld be since my mum and i would be alone..But thank God, firstly, we have accomodation frm aunty rosalind's son..ya.even though its a home where many boys live, everyone was gone for their holidays! haha..oh ya..and for the transport to san francisco frm LA, we made a last min decision whichwas to that Greyhound, a coach which was 10hrs long! thirdly, thank God that the house in SF is near a Bart(mrt) which was convenient for us to travel to the city.

The house is rather cold and since we didnt to go for a tour and muir woods and alcatraz island on one of the days..we decided to book a hotel at chinatown for two nights so the tour bus cld pick us up in the morning! this was another last min decision..also becos i had to plan properly in a way where i cld stayover at jessica's place on one night(:

so, i actually had to make 3 online bookings which were the greyhound coach,the hotel, and the sightseeing in SF.

So, on the 21st dec, we went for our SF tour and in the night jessica came with joyce who drove to fetch me frm my hotel, so i had to leave my mum behind at the hotel to stay another night. played many games at her house from playstations to boardgames (: talked a lot and we gt to catch up on certain things! she kept asking me if i was asleep..hahha! oh ya..i must say that the house is really big!!! there's a nice treetop house and the tv screen is those projection screen kind!

the next morning, we watch the pursuit of happyness..was rather a sad but encouraging show..then i gt to show the story abt Tim and Tom using the paper folding trick to joyce and jessica! joyce jessica and i headed to a shopping mall! the shopping malll was quite big! but i like target the departmental store best! they had so many variety of chocolates! i bought quite a lot of goodies! (: after that, we headed back and played more games..haha..then joyce sent me back to the house where my mum had already reached! so, these few days of worrying abt how to get to jessica's place and abt tours are over! God really provides!

up to now, i have already taken more than 1000 photos..but am only gonna upload a few when i get home! 4 more days b4 i leave U.S..how fast!

Sunday school camp 2007

I shall blog abt ss camp although i only went for 2 days. i missed out on a lot of fun and learning! but anw, i still enjoyed the 2 days that i was really sad to go offf!! my grp was kindness! really nice grp and people who are easy gng and fun-loving! we are really on for almost everything..thanks to our i/cs joel and mag! first day, didnt do much but had writing of memory verses..the second day was really fun! due to the rain we had indoor games but that didnt dampened my grp's mood! we played hard and won the games! (: we had tracting in the nite..my grp consisted of sis Allvina, amos and ian chung. they were a brave team esp the youing boys! haha..i had to leave after that..to go home and pack..

took SQ 12 to tokyo first for a transit before heading the los angeles..the flight was really longg! and food was quite gd! (: had ice cream la!! i did many things on board esp with the entertainment in front of me.. watched many movies..kept switching channels..movies like high school musical 2, hairspray,transformers,the polar express and ratatouille! played games like battleship la..was so bored after a long time...i really thank God tht the flight frm tokyo to LA was really gd because my mum and i had 3 seats as there was no one beside us!! felt like a busniness class seat..i was praying real hard that no one wld occupy the seat and God answered my prayer! (: US is like more than a day behind la..the hotel in LA is really near disneyland but im only gng there tml..as i went to las vegas for the past 3 days...las vegas was super bright la!!! so many lights..and casinos too which kind of irritated me..cos the tour we went brought us to other hotels which all had casinos inside..so many kinds of machines..and noises..but the tour was really nice as we watched musiical fountain volcano eruption and some other shows..went to grandcanyon the next day!! really enjoyed the trip to grand canyon! GOd's creation is realllyy magnificent and beautiful! (: took lots of pics..we went for this sky walk in which we could look down from the glass floorr..it was high!!! in the nite, my mum and i went for a real magic show! for the first time in my life la...it was quite costly but we wont watch that in singapore..the show was really wow...just cant believe it..the guy is supposedly a christian? but im not sure if magic tricks are gd..

today, long bus ride back to Los Angeles!! had a shortbreak of factory shoppingg! i think i was super excited la! hahaha..

ate a lot of food in US..think i'm gng to grow fat..cos its like i have to try everything la..like macs, subway,ben and jerry's,cheesecake factory(:

YF camp 2007!

I truly thank God i made the decision to go YF camp! He has His purpose for me. Despite the samll grp of 12 campers, God is faithful for He made the camp enjoyable and one which i wld never forget! i thank God for everyone at camp, and the fellowship we had. The pingpong and basketball ( i thot i dont like this sport? mm...) I formed a team JJ team which is Jolynn and Me(Jaime) ! we form a gd pair of ping pong partners too ever since gwyn and i were ping pong partners in a previous camp! I'm glad Jolynn came, seriously..u made camp really fun gal! thanks for ur company(: I thank God for the gals in my dorm in which we shared abt certain issues on the last nite.Of course not forgetting my dearies, Rachel and Jasmine! I thank YOU both for the company and listening ears! we must take care of jolynn! (: i gt to know many ppl much better. I oso thank God for the messages which made me think hard...like how am i growing spiritually in the Lord? I really want to mold myself into a better christian, glorifying God thru many ways.
The team building activity was very encouraging, the visitation to aunty christine's house was something different, the video " A vow to cherish" had many things for us to learn frm, and a simple outing to sentosa taught many of us a lesson(: God is good and im really blessed by attending this year's camp! im looking forward to another camp next yr! (:

The experience of giving tuition

WHEE! i'm glad that i'm done with giving eng tuition! well, it was supposed to be 8 sessions but i guess both of us are busy with our own things..so i really thank God he initiated that he wanted the last session to be today! so i had 5 sessions altogether(: I thank God for giving me strength to give tuition to this china boy, esp when the time is at 5pm. And thank God for wisdom too to be able to teach him. quite tough at times..but the one and a half hrs pass really fast!!(: overall, it was a great learning experience for me esp when it is my first time giving tuition!!I have been blogging frequently recently! (: does this show i'm free?? anyway, i need to have gd time management as i will be away for like the whole dec??

life is unpredictable...

oh well, lots of things have happened the past week and have caused me to think hard...firstly, the sudden death of the old granny in my sch who used to picked up cans in the dustbin and frm sizzlin ice..i remembered the times where she will stop over at sizzlin ice to talk to us in hokkien but i usually just nod and pretend to understand..and she's now gone just like that due to an unforeseen accident which nobody wanted it to happen. but I guess its God's will..
secondly, the recent news on the dragon boat tragedy in which 5 lives were taken, out of the 5 only 2 were christians..and i was really really upset abt this tragedy, so young and they left earth just like that..many will wonder why these specific 5 lives were taken..and i know God has His reasons. Thru this 2 incidents, God spoke to me like how lives can be taken suddenly just like that, and i feel this burden to reach out quickly to the lost souls out there which i have been praying for. It's realy unpredictable. I wld really hope to see my loved ones and friends in heaven some day where we will live for eternity! (:

Galilee's choral workshop! (:

I thank God for being able to help out at this yr's choral workshop! its sth new at galilee(: well, many youths helped out at the workshop and we also participated with the kids in the singing too!! thank God for Mrs wong, our trainer who taught us how to sing well(: learnt a lot! the kids were so fun loving and i enjoyed my time playing games with them, tracting and singing! it was a 2 day workshop. let me summarise what we did.

First day: had singing practice frm 9-12pm. then we had a great jap lunch! so cute la! i have pics to show(: then we had tracting! this is the exciting part! my grp consisted of carissa and eunice. these 2 gals had little experience but they were brave and excited! i'm glad that i had them worked with me. they showed me certain things which i usually wld not dare to do. after that, we had a long period of games which had relation to the theme on music! OH YA! my bro's bday was on this day! (:

Second day: training session frm 9-12pm again..then we all headed down to uncle siong teck's place to have our activity at the function room! we had music beat training(the no. of counts) and how to move our hands when leading in singing by aunty jenny(: had fun!! then came the art and craft session led by jasmine and i with the rest of the gal team(: the kids had to use fabric paint to draw on a bag given to them! they enjoyed themselves and i enjoyed myself too while helping them!(: we headed back to church for more practising for the song service at nite and dinner was gddd. and since my bro didnt go to church yest, church frens celebrated for him today! (:

I really had a memorable time throughout these 2 days! (:

this week has been rather relaxing and exciting as i gt to meet up with my sec sch mates on mon and met up with cecilia on tue along with aloysius who was gonna work with her after that. we had a time of catching up! then on wed, i did baking! like finalllyyy! i baked cookiess and had to rush off to je kbox to meet yq and fy! we sang a lot and eat a great meal! my first time gng to kbox..(: really enjoyed myself learning chinese songs frm them..hahah!

Back for updates on what happened in the week! on wed, needed to go back to sch for BU4 meeting, we tried more nicee ice cream! i had to rush down to settler cafe! finally, i made to settlers cafe and being able to sit down and play games. A few of S28 ppl went! the place was literally empty! coool! we ordered the free flow of drinks and games item..haha.took out some dog game and jasmine took effort to say out the instructions but it was so complicated that we had to change the game..we played tabooo! a very nice gamee! then another game which is sth like snap but we had to grab some wooden thing..then we moved on to pictionary..must draw..i left earlier to give tuition..my second lesson!after that i went to church for prayer meeting!

THURSDAY: sq actually smsed abt a job as a tourguide for jap students for one day few days ago $5/hr for 6 hrs? needed to be at furama hotel at 8.15am. i quite thought it was some scam job becos we did not have a briefing at all..until we reached there then we were early..thank God it was a real job.hhaa..its for students(: sq and i had $5 bonus becos we were early! thank God my grp of 7 jap students were gals if not it wls be difficult to bring 7 GUYS arnd..sq's grp were gals tooo! and we both brought the 14 jap students to city link,suntec,esplanade then to DFS. the jap students cldnt really speak eng but they made the effort to communicate with us! it was really a memorable experience! i enjoyed myself(:

FRI: went out with yq to imm to shop for her winer clothes..hahah..then we made a last min decision to watch game plan at jec..cos we heard it was a nice show..so yah..my first movie during the holiday..hahah..the movie was touching and funny at the same time.

Lots of thing have happened during my nov holidays..firstly, a few of us gt to cook pasta and baked cookies for Sis Charissa's bday. I have been gng back to galilee kindg. with jasmine to help with admins things frm 8.30 to 2.30..went to haggen daaz on sunday with mom at esplanade and we actually took part in this contest in naming the dessert! so cool! another exciting thing is im actually giving english tuition to a sec 3 china boy! something i wldnt thought i wld do so early..im not the kind who can teach la..seriously.hhaa..but thank God for wisdom as i went for the first lesson..the second lesson is today! only 8 sessions! (: I had a combined discipleship dinner with shelia, gwyneth and jasmine at imm's fish and co.! nice fooooodd! haha! thanks Shelia and gwyneth for the great meal and fellowship! (: we headed to secret recipe for dessert time after that! oh yaa! i decided to trim my hair yest! now its much thinner! cant wait for more exciting events to happen! class outing today at settlers! hope i can make it! HEYA! im back frm my class chalet! well, had loads of fun there! only 3 didnt make it..but anw, will have more in future! (: yest, we met up and traveled to tampines where we went to A SUPER BIG GIANT near the IKEA and COURTS. shop and shop for things before heading to the chalet! guess what..i met my sec sch class mate Bai lu!she was oso having a class chalet..so qiao..just two houses away..

we settled down,played bluff, uno,heart attack,pig,bridge before taking a long walk to rent bicycles. the guys started bbqing by the time we came back..we had lots of yummy foood! played monopoly in the night..that was super fun! first time i played monopoly for so long..that means to the extend where we could buy hotels..hhaa..played with fy,yq,yh and ed..the guys ae so kiasu la..keep buying hotels..hhaa..the girls are more calm..(: so sad we couldnt continue becos someone went bankrupt..lol(: in the nite..some of them went nite cycling..they toured the whole east la! Thank God for the time spent with my class! (: really enjoyed myself!

Lots of things to be updated! on monday was a sch holiday for me! went to church to study with the rest! on tue, we had our OP rehearsal..its was ok la..but we had to redo our slides! anyway, that day was super fun! went to fy house to playyy! after that, we had class dinner at jp's SUBWAY! i love subway's cookies! haha..anyway, its been long since our class had dinner tgt..and we had fun! on wed was a day which made me think hard! received the news abt the econs trip..oh well..was loooking forward to this trip and now it is being postponed to 3-nov to 10 dec which is like in the middle of nowhere la!will miss whole of yf camp, no ss camp for me and to risky for another trip..its like once i reach singapore, will fly off again..thats too risky. I guess its God's will for me not to go..made the decision when i came home at night. the $300 deposit!! arhh..pray that it will come back to me(: thank God on wed nite, rachel and i met sis charissa for preparation of When God speaks..it so happened that the week was God speaks through circumstances..and rachel and i had a lot to think abt.....

HEYA! im back to blog! this week has been a wonderful week! many things to thank God for..firstly the results..thank God i accepted them, the good and the not so good ones..anyway, thank God for christian frens who constantly remind and encourage me! God has His reasons for everything that happens!

Have been working with my pw grp on our OP! its been fun working on this area! haha..taking pics for our slideshow presentation! its reallyyy hilarious! i shall post some up! you can have fun laughing at them!

on fri, had fast and pray in church..first time experience for me! we were supposed to stop eating by 4pm on fri..but i didnt really know..but anw, the yf and yaf had a sweet time of fellowship by singing and praying, as well as hearing God's word! this session took place frm 7 to 1am!! and the gals slept in the mwr, i slept on the chairs..i slept quite well! haha..the next morning..we went to teban to eat! i decided to go home first before gng back to church at 1pm tto leave for Zion Bishan BP for combined yf meeting 2007! thank God for this yr's message by Rev Heng, which spoke abt unity under christ..we are all sheep in the same flock.(: my grp was EZRA! an active and fun-loving grp! its nice to know new youths every yr..though i always have this phobia. met new frens like melinda,michelle,rachelkee and sarah(: we even took a niceyy grp pic!

HEYA! im back for another post! thank God for today,finally....after dont know how many years of knowing rachel, i finally gt to go out with jasmine and her to vivo! we were walking arnd..actually kind of decided whether to watch a movie before that already..just that felt kind of waste of money...anyway, we decided to watch ratatouille! i think we are like the only ones who haven catch the movie la! its ending soon! this movie is really really niceee!! we all enjoyed ourselves today! we took a stroll at the rooftop for a while. can't wait for another outing with them again! YAY! thank God PROMOS are finally over! after 1 mth of studying at je library and in church, finally! the day has come! God has been good to me(: he sustained me throughout my papers..without headache but i had stomachache on one of the nites but recovered so quickly! Thank God for my studying buddies in church! you all have been an encouragement and my joy and laughter too! (: thanks to jasmine and yvonne, my regular latenite studying buddies in church and sometimes lydia and kevin do join in our studying grp! (: Its been fun buying bread and tarts from the bakery all the time! the fourth level rm and the tables in front of the yf board has become like part of my life..haha! thank God for uncle john and his wife and Sis karina who constantly brought us food, to make sure we have eaten. HEYA people! its been long since i last blogged..lots of things to be updated..recently had the leaders camp over two days..its was really fun and enriching! thank God i made it to church on sunday, though i knew i missed the fun part. (: oso, my class s28 has been rather small this past 3 weeks la! this week attendance dropped to average 12? anyway, the 3 ppl are coming back frm china tml!! finally!!! after 3 weeks la! Thank God for today's outing s26(pae) had with ganma tooo!! i enjoyed myself!(: we ate at jp's pizza hut(: ganma so funny la..the tcher's day gift for ganma was a puzzle which was a photo of s26! so nice la! thanks qihui,fengyi,jacinda,louis,victor,geok,benny,james and xing keng for turning up! and of course ganman who kept insisting she has to pay..but in the end we hid the money in the card! National Day 2007!

Heya people! this year's national day was rather diff for me since i did not get to go for ndp! so sad..anyway, i enjoyed myself this year tooo!!(: firstly, on the 8 aug, our sch's celebration was ok la..not as gd as tanglin! haha...but we were given ALOT of goodies!! went out with fengyi and yiqing after that..window shopping..haha..and on 9 aug...whee! went to church for field day in the morning!! i had fun though there werent many galileans but kindergarden kids and their family! THank God for the event! (: after that, went for S28 class outing which is steamboat at marina bay + to watch fireworks! Our view was good frm where we were seated! food was not bad..i ate alot la..hahhaa..had lots of fun with my classmates though only 10 came..after dinner..the rest headed to the airport to stay overnight since some are leaving for the china trip..yq and i went home..but anyway, i hope that the 3 of them will have a great trip! 3 weeks will pass soon! i hope. today was another good day..buffet lunch for me again as my mom went to meet up with her frens and i gt to see the cute children after so long!..haha..oh ya..its yong hong's bd! happy bday once again! ahhaa..hope u had fun! this year's national day just passed like that..there goes the long holidays..back to work..

YAY! praise God common tests are over! its time for me to take a break. (: God has beeen real and good to me! He sustained my throughout this week. and its finally over! i have been waiting for this day! (: now its time to celebrate Singapore's bday!i love to sing national day songs.haha(:but im missing this yr's national day parade! so saddd! i like the bag! Anyway, on sunday, im glad i made the decision to watch "love above all" musical at NUS. Its was quite good.(: although i was a little worried for common tests. anyway, i finally gt to catch harry potter movie with yi qing today at VIVO! our first time watching at vivo and we were super excited la! hhaa..but the threatre we went was so small la. we were like busy finding sweet popcorn la..cos like all salted instead of mixed. and we went shopping at VIVO before the movie started.sale still on.we were tempted though(: we are meet again tml to do more shopping! ahaha..(: oh ya..i have to annouced that the main com is finally fixed! thanks to my bro! OLYMPIC DREAMS!

HEYA PPL! I'm back after such a long pause of blogggin! Life has beeen hectic and busy..but i decided to blog today! Since a BIG event just passed. that is olympic dream! well, my class had CIP on this big event, and since i'm a jj leader, i decided to stay overnite at the stadium with some of my classmates! we all had fun! and we ran the nite thru la! thank God for strength and that no one was injuired seriously. the next morning..we had mass dance display and my class continued with our CIP..it was supposed to be teaching others how to use the wheel chaiir..but end up we used the wheel chair..cos no one wanted to actually learn from us.as they already knew how to. so ya..by the time my shift came, we did something else, such as giving out the rubber bands to runners and to record the no,. of laps they ran. i cycled that afternoon la! really tiring.20 laps of running and cycling! and im glad i gt to share part of the gospel to yh while walking the laps in the nite. God gave me the opportunity!

THank God for sustaining me thru all the weeks at sch..hw here..tests there..cca matters..oh yaaa! yesterday's kite flying at west coast park was cooool and funnn! finallyly i see the kites flying la! im sure yfers enjoyed themselves that day! (:

Church Camp 2007!

Thank God i made it to camp this year! It was held at Awana genting this year! long journey..thansk God for journey mercies as the rain was really heavy!! thank God for my room mates jasmine,lydia and debrorah! they have been gd roommates! thanks to deborah who taught me bio(: we had fun playing UNO too! ahha..im the winner(: I enjoyed the fellowship with everyone and this year, i took back new messages to be learnt and applied. and i also enjoyed helping the kiddies for one day. The first day was rather relaxed, had ice breakers and singing. the second day, i went to help the kids during the messages. and during free time, most of us went to play sports like squash,table tennis,badminton and tennis. I did archery too!!(: in the night, the was the bible reading competition. the kids recited the 66 bks of the bible. I was super touched by one of the special child and i cried while he recited! he was very determined and confident. praise God! on wednesday, we had messages and recreation time. Some of us, mostly gals decided to take the cable car up to the higher part of genting(themepark and shopping mall) to check out before most of us go the next day. the cable car up was super fun la! its SEA's longest and fastest cable car(: misty(: i ate baskin robbins before coming down again by cable car.on the way down, my roommates sat in the same cable car and we sang our way down! we had campfire nite! and they celebrated the june babies birthdays(: on thursday, we played the most! most of us went up to genting again to spend our timee at the theme park! sat many exciting rides la!! enjoyed myself(: since it was the last nite, many youths gathered in a rm to sing and play UNO and pig!
This camp was very memorable as i managed to recite the 66 bks of the bible with jasmine and deborah..many others did too! it was really encouraging(: there were sharings that were encouraging. took lots of pics! and gt to know others more(: Thank God for His mercies throughout this camp! i hope that i can make it for next yr's camp!(: oh ya! thanks God for NICE weather!! cooling ! and gd foooodd!

Heya! im back again! i had a really great day today! lots of happenings arnd(: haha! woke up early to get ready for BU4 meeting in sch..and God justr wanted me to use the com again..haha..like how i met my bro online the other morning..first time! and guess what, i met JESSICA online! for the first time..like finally! i couldnt be more happy la! (:gd start for the day! i managed to catch up with her. after that..went for BU 4 meeting..then after that, met my mum to go suntec to eat..ate some porridge buffet in the end..NICE(: walk walk walk..Had an invitation by MS SHUQING and MS HUIHUI for dinner at marina's pizza hut(: thanks gals, i really had a great meal and taking pics..and smiling at the cute lil boy huh..hahaha!we walked and walked again..then went home(: i watched roalnd garros(: and the 2 semi final matches made my day again! Ivanovic and Justine henin is in the finals! whoo hoo! I hope justine wins ultimately la! haha! God has preserved me for 17 yrs!(: And i received lots of SMSes that made my day even brighter(: so many msgs la..i had to reply like everyone.(: but thanks guys..really(: the 2 smses that made me shocked was my bro and joanne jie(: both overseas but never failing to make my day(: and to those who send testimonials thru friendster..thanks so much(: really appreciate it(: how many smiley faces do i have..hahaha..toohappy! will post pics soon(:

well, im back ppl! (: after like more than one mth! lots of things to update abt..firstly, my
bro left for america on 5 may for 3 mths! the worse thing of all is just after he left, his com

alright. i had a dialog session with minister Tharman with many other j1s. I gt to catch spiderman with
mum on mother's day. Sports meet on 18th may! bannister rocks la! we won cheering!

ANd this week i had ECLUB CAMP! finally its here..after dont know how many weeks
when we first started the commitee.Thank God that night went well! (: and i finally met up

sec 2 gang(sq,xf,yn and sm!) at marina's han's! we ate and talked a lot..and shopped

heya! yesterday was a super fun day la! S28 went out for dinner at vivo! and chen yaan made it! only 2 cldnt make it..and we ate at the same place i ate with jessica,sq,huihui on fri! haa.and i ordered the same thing(: we made a lot of noise in the restaurant and the waiter sweated as he took our orders. the boys were so lame especially jiajun and jonathan la..after the dinner..we stood outside the restaurant for at least 15 mins taking pics la..practucally everyone was like taking pics here and there..super funny la..everyone was like staring i tink.after that, class rep jasmine lead the "tour grp" to mark and spencers then we went roof garden to take more pics and have class bonding(: yiqing,fengyi and i left earlier..too late already!

Today is a sad day, huihui,sq and i took a cab down to the airport to send jessica off.the day has come..its that fast! it was so qiao that the cab driver was one of the tanglin gal's father and we know her! we took pics and im sad to see her off..dont know when she's coming back): come back jessica! after that i went home and came out with my mom to shop.

it's gonna be end of the week.(: sat is coming! recently i realised sth and i start to picture like why God had a reason for me to get the no. of points for olvl..cos i knew if i gt 11 and below i wld have gone to take 4 H2s..and that was what God didnt want me to do. I'm grateful to HIM. Now i see a clear pic. He has placed me where He wants me to be! Im happy to be in the class i am in right now, after getting to know more abt them and seeing how the class reacts during civics and maths class..haha..! they are all fun ppl! can't believe we will be having a class dinner soon! thats on monday since tue is a public holiday(: still wondering when will be the next s26(pae) outing..(:Still busy with eclub stuff..but having fun(: NACHOS!

Sth sad is gonna happen. Jessica just told me she's leaving for America on tue! thats like super fast..she was supposed to leave in sept! and now she's leaving to study there..and if she's finds a sch, she will stay there until sch starts!! if not, she's coming back to singapore!(:I'm so sad la! one less person to talk to, to laugh with, and sharing lame stuff..i'm so gonna miss u la!! don't leave me! I was so looking forward to sat lo! this week was so busy and scary for me..hhaa..lots of tests and hw!! was rather stressed too. however, there has been great things which happened this week too! i started my duty at cookie house this week and had lots of fun! and we formed our pw grps already! my grpmates are yiqing,feng yi,bin bin and the only boy edward.haha..hope we will work well together! this week, my class finally took class photos! we took with mr azmi and mr seah.(: PC in jc is really tough la! i'm strugglin..haha..must be fitter! and wheee! yesterday jess and i decided to go back to tanglin with huihui to collect out olvl certs..in the end we will 15mins late..as in the ppl in the office all left already..we waited for lyefong in sch..then we saw ian and ks too! so qiao! we chatted with ms lim,mr chan and mrs jacob and we took pics too! haha..then junhao,kelly and kaheng came to sch too..we went to macs for dinner to catch up!today's sat..yf is watching Left behind part 2! next week there's bio and 2 gp tests! pray for me! HEYA! one week for sch passed like that again..wow how fast la! FRIDAY was the best of course..haha..finally gt to meet s26(pae) peeps like van,eveline,qihui,victor and james at jec for dinner! we ate macs..talked a lot abt current lives.after that, guess where we went? we went to take neoprints for the first time together! we had fun!
Yesterday was a BIG day for yf! we had our homecoming and many ex yfers came back to celebrate this occasion! i was incharge of food again..together with rachel. thank God for jasmine who helped out too! early morning, i went to imm to collect the secret recipe cake..it was a banana choco cake(yummy!) then met the 2 at sheng siong to get stuff..then we went back to church and set off to westmall to get old chang kee! i was really afraid either there was not enough food or too much food..but thank God for the right amt of ppl who turned up! thanks to Shelia who gt Bao and kueh! while they were having the celebration upstairs, rachel,me and together with my mum and another aunty and uncle, helped to prepare the sandwiches and drinks with us! this coming week is gonna be busy! 3 tests in a row!

YEAH! finally i can blog on my com! after so long..thanks Jasmine and Jacinda who posted my last few posts. It has been 3 weeks since school started..yup.lots of hw and tests are coming up! just had maths test today. Anyway, it's been a great past 2 weeks! last wk, i got to catch mr bean's holiday with jessica armani! haha..then this wk, on monday, went to meet up with cecilia to so call celebrated her bday..she gave my a treat at je's pizza hut! and we did alot of catching up! quite sad today, the class outing that van and i planned did not come through..though we waited so long for this day! in the end, so little cld turn up, so we cancelled..but VANESSA and I still went to je to eat KFC lo! haha! did some catching up too! God has been great this week! He sustained me as i had to do this PI(which was tiring) and He gave me strength during PC( we had to run A LOT). tml is Good friday! There's a reason behind this Good friday people! Jesus died on the Cross for our SINS so that our sin's are forgiven and we can go to HEAVEN when we die. And Jesus arose on the third day to show that He Lives!LOVE was on that cross. " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not PERISH, but have EVERLASTING life" John 3:16. Jesus is the best present that u can ever receive. So do think carefully as this is the most important decision in one's life!

first week of term 2!

I'm in class 07S28! a new environment for me again..and i have 2 classmates who were previously frm 07s26 who are with me! Its nice making new frens and keeping in contact with my previous classmates! my class had this bonding session together behind LT5. we introduced ourselves and played games! this week of lectures has been ok..not too bad..thank God i dont feel tired!
today was extremely fun la! my PAE class 07s26 had a class gathering at jp! our first gathering since we went our separate ways.! i met qihui first at 4.30 and we walked arnd and met duchen..and waited for the rest(fengyi,jacinda,xueqi,yeele,victor,geok,benny,james,xingkeng) and we walked and walked arnd and didnt know what to eat..thank God we finally found a place to eat that had seats for all of us..which is PIZZA PLACE! a new place which we haaven tried! they had student value meal! we shared a lot abt lectures, jcs..yup..heard a lot abt ac and sa.(: its great to be together once again chating!after dinner..xueqi,victor,geok,yeele,james and i walked arnd while the rest went home..we stood at a corner and chat then yeele went back to her primary sch gathering..the 5 of us walked arnd and stepped into toys r us and we played with TOYS..haha..and we found this kiddy area whick allowed us to sit for 1 hr..the place which kids use this colourful liquids and decorate..some art thingy..and we decided to do one for qihui's bday! haha! it was really fun! we stayed till abt 9 before heading to kopitiam to take a video for qihui..(: until abt 10.30..we went home(: can't wait for our next outing when eveline comes back! shld be bowling! (:

HeyA! I'm back after a two day kelong trip in malaysia! it was really an enojoyable experience for me..living on a kelong! very different lifestyle..anyway, i learnt how to fish! when we reached the kelong,most of them started fishing while some watched tv..i didnt really know what to do..thank God i found sth to do! so happy meijun came along..and she decided to fish.then i follow her! we hold the rod..first attempt: we almost gt the fish but it slipped away! what a pity. but we gt a second attempt: i felt some tug..so i quickly pull up..i caught a pufferfish!! the mouth super bloated la! but it was poisonous so Rev tan threw it back into the sea..ok..third attempt: we really caught this big fish! whee!so happy to experience catching fishes! thank God for the trip with galilee and grace bp church.(: the toilet is super funny..we have to pee into the sea thru the toilet bowl..and i had to bathe using pails!

This march holiday has been great! did quite a lot of things like eating and shopping! its gonna be the last week to enjoy before sch starts..time for serious work!

Today's yf, we had street tracting at jurong! a rather exciting and fun experience for me as i gt to give out a lot of tracts as compared to door-to-door tracting! am glad so many people are receptive towards receiving the tracts! Praise God!

I'm really thankful to God for giving my such a wonderful class in jj pae! my fellow classmates has made my entry into jj so fun! thanks so much 07S26! thru love fiesta, class bonding in ganma's class(phototaking), outings..and jj wall,class jersey,card games, we have definitely grown closer! i truly enjoyed u ppl's company! seoul garden on tue was fun! haha..ate so much huh! when a few of you all started sending in the msgs yesterday, i almost cried la! its really sad to see some of you-all leaving! but we will keep in touch! today was an unforgettable day! firstly, only 12 of my classmates turned up..plus we wore our class jerseys! super red! our class decided to go for the maths test..and when we went to the lecture hall, there were less than 20 ppl there la! in the end only abt 20+ went! my class had the most no. of ppl la! and the tcher say we so supportive of him! haha..in the end..not maths test as it was an open bk test plus its was self-marked! after that we had chem tutorial which only last half hr! so cool! released early! we took pics in class! after that eveline qihui duchen and i decided to go rajah inn at tiong bahru to eat! on the way out of sch..we were stalked by this sec sch BB boy! he started walking beside eveline so closely, staring at her shoes..folled by watch and bag..the three of us being gals were super scared la! but thank God there was du chen who saved us la! he was able to shoo the boy away..so scary! i wondered what that boy wanted..
met up with vanessa louis and xing keng to eat at rajah inn..and i met cc, junhao and aloy there too!
